Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time

Got my copy from Amazon today. I won't be able to open it until I finish Brtal Legen, BoGT and Borderlands though.
 
I picked up this game over the weekend. This is my first R&C ever, so I am fairly excited to play it. I was always fascinated by the gameplay, story and graphics, but never had the mind to buy one of these.

I figure I can sprinkle gameplay of this in between COD and UC2.

How many hours is the storyline?

15ish? It is a very good game with a good story and it actually brings the lulz
 
Not that it affects the gameplay or anything but if you downloaded Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest For Booty and kept a save for it, you get a free pirate hat from the Extras menu.

I thought it was neat and reminded me of the bonus UC2 gives you if you have an Uncharted: Drake's Fortune save.
 
I fucking love this game. I'm glad that it is (likely) the last one as the style is running thin (not making it less enjoyable, I can just tell that if there is another one I'll be kind of "meh"), but it's just insanely fun, well animated, great graphics, superb voice acting, and yes, genuinely funny.
 
I didn't understand this thing on the first map with Ratchet. After he crash lands with Quark, the two of them go searching the planet. Pretty quickly you come across a river, where you have to get to the other side to raise the bridge for Quark. The thing is there 2 ways you can get to the river, one is go straight, and hop accross the floating rock formations, but if you got up the hill to the right, there is a ledge with arrows pointing out. When you look across you will see a golden bolt, but there is no way to get across the river from there and get to the bolt. If you take the low route, and get to the other side, you can't climb up the ledge. WTF. How are you supposed to get to that Bolt?

The thing with the R&C games Blade, is that a lot of stuff you won't be able to get later with different other gadgets. You can either backtrack, or, they all have New Game+, where you can play through again with all of your weapons and the chance to upgrade them further. I know what you're talking about, and likely an item down the road will be what you need to snag that bolt.

From what I saw, the platform to reach the Gold Bolt was destroyed by a time blast.

If you're able to go back (I haven't gotten that far yet) to the planet, I would see about using Clank's time powers to reverse said destruction.

From there, I think you would have to use the Hover Boots (I don't have them yet) or get something that would allow you to travel long distance via flight.
 
Just came to a fun portion of the game where you meet Alister Azimuth... gotta chase him via the use of Grind Boots and if you mess up or die once, you gotta do the whole process all over again.

Weak.

I love how if one of the Mr. Zurkons in your arsenal dies, the next one immediately says "Mr. Zurkon is back with a vengeance" when you deploy him. :rofl:

It's enough to just throw one out there even if there's just a lowly space snail to kill.
 
I've only played a few levels so far but I really enjoy it. No surprise.

Of course I have encountered any of the Clank time puzzles yet.

I thought the first R&C game on PS3 looked good but this game looks beautiful. Everything is so vibrant and colorful.
 
This game kicks ass. I love everything about it.

The radio stations while in the flying missions are hilarious.
