I'm not happy with my HBs at all. They all have big question marks surrounding them. I went with Steven Jackson at #5. If he can stay healthy I'm fine with it because he will produce, but if he goes down I'll obviously be kicking myself.
Donald Brown is still an UFA. I'm thinking about dropping Edge and picking him up but I really think Edge could be the goalline guy in Seattle.
Overall, I think you did a fantastic job at getting back-ups that get a bunch of play time just in case your #1 / #2 has a down year(which is possible with players like McFadden, SJAX, Lee Evans, etc)
Quarterback - B+
I give you a B+ just because he is a safe pick but I don't see him carrying your team on your back and winning it by himself. He will have a top 10 year but I don't see him having a better year than Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, or Tom Brady.
Running back - B
Alright, you went out on a limb and took Steven Jackson. I know, I did the same thing and lets face it, we both took a chance. Jackson is an absolute monster when
healthy, easily a top 5 RB and has the potential to just go off and give you a Michael Turner or Adrian Peterson type of year. Key word is healthy with him. I think he will get his yards, touches, and touchdowns if he remains healthy... regardless of the pieces around him. He is just that type of player.
I like what you did with your back-ups at the RB position. Jonathon Stewart and McFadden have huge upsides and a ceiling that is higher than most running backs that are being picked around them. Great players to have on your bench just incase they decide to blow up or a key injury happens to one of the backs they split with.
Edgerrin James, Jamal Lewis, and Cedric Benson... all going to get the touches and its great that you got your hands on all of them. I can't see all three of them failing, I guarantee one of them is going to emerge as a fantasy threat.
Wide Receiver - A
Andre Johnson is a beast, I don't really need to go into detail about that. He is my #1 rated WR, so kudos to snagging him.
Somewhat shaky considering Boldin and his injury woes and his contract issues. But that seems to be put on the back burner and he SHOULD have a solid season.
Good depth between Holt and Evans, you can play it situational and see which match-ups are more favorable. I always love that when I got a 4th WR that I can bring in and not feel like I'm fucking up badly.
Tight End - C+
Zach Miller will be solid, not sure if he will have a break out season though. It really depends on the quarterback situation in Oakland and what plays are drawn up for him in the endzone. I'm not too confident in the Raiders coaching staff to get him the ball where it counts. Good option, just not an elite option.
Defense - B
Another pick that I got in my draft, I was thankful that they dropped to me. Dallas was a pretty aggressive team on defense and that is always good for the sack total. And it doesn't hurt to have DeMarcus Ware of course.
