I played it once. It's basic, which is what I expected. They only let you play three innings with the Red Sox and Cardinals. If this game kept season stats and had online I'm pretty sure I'd buy it, even at $20. But no way is it worth a purchase missing those features.

Exactly. This game needed online.
 
It's really confusing why this game wouldn't even have online. 99% of games now have online, and it's become expected unless you are playing a story-driven narrative. Even a game like that in Assassin's Creed eventually added an online component.

This game was released solely to capture money from people without a PS3/4 who like baseball. Even then it's still a travesty not to have online or stats.
 
Apparently there is a rumor that there may be a patch coming in the Summer that adds online. I don't see that happening. If they added online and dropped the price to $10 I'd buy it just to play against my cousin and a few buddies.
