whenever he face a decent defense, he shit himself...
40 yds and 2 YPC against boise
8 yds and 1.3 YPC against ECU
10 yds and 1.7 against Duke
24 yds and 3.7 against UVA
4 yds and 1 YPC against stanford
he will be just like every other VT skill player in the NFL... a bum...
Boise is the only one where he got a significant amount of carries. All the other games he averaged 5-6 carries that game which is nowhere near enough to get yourself going. Along with him being injured basically all season and splitting carries with two other backs. As I said I'm going off of his Freshman season, when he as healthy majority of the time and was the feature back.
Alabama- 2 touchdowns, 71 yards, 5.5 yards per carry
Nebraska- 107 yards, Touchdown, 5.1 yards per carry
Miami- 150 yards, 2 Touchdowns, 4.4 yards per carry
Georgia Tech- 100 yards, Touchdown, 7.1 yards per carry
Boston College- 159 yards, 8.8 yards per carry, Touchdown
I'm not saying he is going to for sure be a great player, but no one in the third round is. If you didn't have negatives or concerns you wouldn't be getting drafted in the third round. I've liked what I seen from him when healthy and think he is definitely worth a third round pick.
