If a team runs out old style running formations for the next 10 weeks after having no preparation in training camp or practice, they will still tank. Fisher isn't going to be coaching for his job with the injuries and personnel, why not experiment a bit?

NFL teams don't fold the tent & tank this early in the season. Many probably should, but they just don't. Especially a young team with a coach who is trying to instill a winning attitude.

You don't see teams throw the towel until mid December. That's when you see wacky starting QB decisions, coaches looking at deep depth chart personnel , etc.

Tim Tebow isn't getting a look anywhere because the media circus for an out of position player is too much for the low return you get.

Thats why you see teams kicking the tires on the likes of Dennis Dixon over a guy like Tebow.

You guys are looking at it from a fans perspective. You're making decisions with your hearts instead of your brains like a child instead of a grown ass mother fucking business man.

If my coach brought in Tebow after Kellen Clemens has been practicing with the team all year I wouldn't be happy.

The season is half over. You're not making the playoffs. Play with what you have and start thinking about the draft because any team that is even thinking about Tim Tebow is in bad shape.

I think the Vikings may have actually brought Freeman in to tank, though.

It's a lot of unecessary work in to bring someone like Tebow in at this point. And then what if he does win a few games and you have to figure out if you want to commit to him and rebuilding your entire offense around him? Cue the circus.

I do think he can make games interesting. There's a lot of parity in the league this season. He's just not worth the headache because he isn't good enough to be. Former teammates have talked about how poor he was. He also comes with too much baggage.

I do think somebody should and will give him a shot eventually. Not sure who is going to want to coach him though. Maybe Chip Kelly?

Well, that's because I am a fan.

Why on earth, as a fan, would I want to watch Kellen Clemens for 9 more games? Tebow would have given this team some juice, something to look forward to watching. Tebow was by far the most interesting thing the NFL had going a couple of years ago in Denver.

What if your coach brought in Brady Quinn & Austin Davis? I don't understand this point. It's the coaches job to bring in and play the players best suited to help the team win. If the coach brings in Tebow or Quinn or Davis or Brett Favre or Marc Bulger or Ryan Leaf, and thinks they give you a better chance to win than Clemens, why would you be upset? You are acting like Kellen Clemens has some kind of sparkling resume that demands respect. He's a scrub.

Teams don't tank in this league, at least not this early. I don't know why fans always bring up this tanking narrative. Most of these coaches would give up a testicle for another win or two.

Warner.....Tebow sucks. You are comparing Tebow's value to Kellen Cleamons, Brady Quinn, etc level of players, which should tell you something. Granted they all suck, but IMO the Rams would be better off bringing in Vince Young or something. My issue with this Tebow infatuation is that people hold on to a run in Denver, where everything aligned perfectly (defense mostly) to create the success. Yet, any other time (and even during that run) he has sucked.

I just don't understand why people want to keep giving him chances at QB when there have been multiple similar skilled QBs who have never been given even one chance. The funny part is that most who support him do it for two reasons....they are either idiot Christians or they just think it would be fun to watch, Yet, both sides know that he sucks. If this happens RIP Tavon Austin.
