I played the first one co-op with my wife when it first came out and I blew through the second one. I think there are still a ton of trophies I need to get in the second game.

Warning: They tried to make this more stratigized by only allowing you to have two weapons at a time instead of the weapons wheel. I'm sure you probably already knew that though. Definitely must play through. If anything, just for storyline purposes.
I'm hoping they tie some of Retributions storyline into this as well. Online campaign co-op! :fuckyeah:

I bought the original Resistance, and wasn't a big fan. I'll be passing on this one just like the second one.

Untrue. I am not a Halo fan. Once I realized that MS was gonna milk that franchise I knew it was gonna be a piece of crap. The only Halo that I liked was Halo: Combat Evolved. I agree with Twigg and I know a bunch of other people that do also. Halo turned into trash, but the Halo brand itself is what keeps it selling.

The amount of people that enjoy halo far outweighs the number the enjoy resistance. Halo 1-3 were the most balanced games on the consoles which is why it was so popular. The only thing bungie did wrong was Reach, and they still update playlists, add maps, and continue to keep the game fresh which is why people still play them. Cant say the same for insomniac or whoever makes resistance.

I'm talking multiplayer only here, not campaigns. I'm not 12 anymore, I enjoy multiplayer.

Nothing about Halo is fresh. Combat Evolved was fresh. After that the games turned into turds.

You're a campaign guy I assume so I understand that. The MP portion was great though 1-3, they didn't need to change much so they just changed the graphics and player models a little.

I'll butt out of this thread though as I'm not adding anything to due with R3.

I love campaign's, but I am playing multiplayer games more so that assumption is incorrect.

I like all of them really and yes Halo MP trumps both KZ and Resistance. KZ might have had a chance, but online is just fucked. Resistance is the game to play fucked up though. Resistance campaign beats all imo and I'm not 12 so, I guess I'm in the minority on liking campaign mode? Multiplayer can just be a total fucking drag for any game sometimes with all of the douchers glitching and cheating. Think MP for R3 is going to fuck shit up this time around though.

Yeah, and I was clearly talking about single player.

And what does age have to do with single player/multiplayer? I think many would argue that there are more asshole kids online than adults. Sp I guess if you prefer playing with fucking kids then you should stay online. I'll still to my campaigns, thank you.

Which brings me to ask.... Who do you have lined up if anyone for online co-op? Looks like :knubb: will be up for this as well. I would like to put some serious time into this from the word go.

I play the campaigns, but I don't get into them as much as a lot of gamers. Some people read the books, play through the campaign over and over again for stupid achievements, thats what I meant. I don't play through a campaign and follow the storyline over multiple games(R1,2,3/Halo 1,2,3,reach, etc.). I've just always been an online first guy, and that's probably the reason why I'm not big on campaigns. The average age of a gamer is 35, so if you get online and hear a bunch of little kids yelling in your fucking ear you're doing it wrong. Figure out how to mute people and build a good friends list.

I'm a big fan of real weapons in games as well, the only sci fi shooter I've liked is Halo and that was because it was so balanced and competitive. I like military shooters because I can use weapons that I've either shot, own, or want to own.

How has your first love been treating ya for PS lately? J/P
