Ya, I honestly didn't know anything of him until last season. And it was a great season, it's just - like you said - unbecoming of him to be talking all this mess.

I guess we'll see how it manifests itself on the field... I've always been of the mindset that you don't give a player any extra reason to beat you, though. Don't insult his family, don't insult his character, just don't insult him. Let it play out on the field. "Actions speak louder than words" and all that shit.

What do you stand to gain besides an opportunity to make an ass of yourself if/when he makes a fool of you?

I think it has a lot to do with Rex Ryan not having a filter on his big ole pie hole. If the HC of the NYJ frowned upon it, Revis most likely wouldn't be doing it.

Revis is young and impressionable, now he is starting to be a big mouth, which only puts a larger target on his own back, something that is going to bite him in the azz if he doesn't produce the way he "Says" he will. There are coaches that have character and personality, coaches that don't say much of anything at all, and then there is Rex Ryan, who continues to make his, and his team's target bigger and bigger.
