True. I don't drink nearly as much now that I've graduated school. Once I turned 21, going to bars and buying beer at the gas station on the way home was so anti climactic. Before I felt like I was getting one over on the system when my fake ID worked, now I just feel like another schmuck alcoholic.

Apparently, the whole thing started when Michael Floyd was dancing on some hot white chick. His girlfriend (who is apparently fat and black), walked into the party and saw them. At the same time, the white girl's boyfriend saw. Floyd got decked in the eye socket twice. Once by his girlfriend (lol) and once by this girls boyfriend. He, being drunk out of his mind, started to fight back. He was restrained by many Notre Dame football players, knowing how valuable he is to the team. But fights between people began to break out for one reason or another, usually because they were trying to hold somebody back and ended up getting hit, and hit back. Thats what caused the cops to come. Abromaitis said a bunch of people ran away, but he didn't. Floyd apparently got away. The two baseball players showed up to the party with nobody there, luckily for them. I ended up getting Nash and Abromaitis' autographs and left them alone as they just got done practicing and were headed for class.

Floyd needs to stay the hell out of trouble....

Yeah I always heard he was kind of a prick from people I knew on the team. Crist was much better liked and even Demetrius Jones was as well. The WR thing I was never too surprised about as if you think back you never really saw Clausen or Tate celebrate with eachother, high five or anything. Clausen always seemd to celebrate with the linemen.

Disagree, kids are going to binge drink in college, high school or whatever regardless. The drinking age was 18 here in the states in certain states as little as 30 years ago and my parents were binge drinking etc no different than I did. They could just legally go buy it.

IMO Kids don't binge drink because the drinking age is 21..the binge drink because they are 17, 18, 19 etc. If when I was in college and the drinking age was 18 it wouldn't have made me drink any less...if anything I would have/could have drank more because it was more accessible.

Well yeah but that's because you had been binge drinking for 3-4 years. I mean at some point everything runs it's course(at least with most people) plus when you graduate parties become different, you don't binge drink at house parties you go to the bars to do it, parties aren't as crazy because people are getting older, working etc. The dynamic changes around that time. I would argue that drinking for people like you and I doesn't slow down at 21 because it's "anti-climatic" but because life situations don't really allow it to happen or faciliate it happening like theydid when you are even 2-3 years younger.

I mean MJ was one of the biggest assholes you'll ever hear about. I don't think there's been a guy less judged or scorned for literally physically assaulting teammates in practice. MJ was winning championships though so it was just him being a competitor etc. May be a stretch but I think you see the point I'm getting at.

If Clausen ever becomes a winner it will go from "cocky/prick" to "confident/fiery/leader overnight. That's true with a lot of guys though.

Well, can someone explain to me why I shouldn't like Vick? Why I should prefer Kolb's no-talent self? Cause I've been criticized for it twice in this thread and I still don't understand why. I mean, I can see how my logic can be perceived as flawed, but I also think Vick got the short end of the stick in the court of public opinion.

Like, I was watching the fucking Michael Vick Project (on BET, my second-least favorite station... after FOX News), and his little brother is an asshole. Like, Marcus Vick is a fucking hardhead. He's a consistent trouble maker. Mike has two strikes: he smoked weed and he killed dogs.

I'm gonna let the first one go for a lot of reasons.

The dog-killing is deplorable, but it's not the worst thing that was ever done. He shouldn't have done it, it was a terrible thing to do. I love dogs. I love animals, I just don't think it was that big a deal.

You do realize Vick's time in prison was mainly stemming from the interstate commerce charge under the RICO statute right? He was barely sentenced to anytime for the dog fighting itself. 95% of his time served as a result of the illegal gambling etc operation he had going. There was really nothing "racist" about it.

Illegally? Who knows. No one really does.

As a football player, while immensely talented naturally he had a horrible reputation for never studying film, refusing to put work in to do things like improve mechanics, accuracy, etc. Simple things leaders of teams do to set examples for the team and help them win games. I mean, look back to his 2nd season in the league and then look at his last full season with the Falcons. Was he really doing anything better as a QB? Did he ever truly progress? Outside of the uniforms and teams you'd be hard pressed to put in tape of Vick in 2002 and 2006 and tell the difference. That's a huge indictment on him and his work ethic.

Not incredibly difficult, but there were nights where I was helping strangers move couches for a bottle of vodka for a party and having to call in favors and seeing if my friends older sisters and brothers could buy it. Some nights I couldn't find a hook up at all.
