The Dolphins didn't up the offer over Seattle to entice him either. They gave him a take it or leave it offer. He left it. Hardly a stance taken by a team that truly desires a player.

lol - How the hell has Flynn fallen so far? He started all of 2 games as a Packer.
Russell Wilson played in a way that Pete had no choice but to start him. I haven't seen a rookie look this good in the preseason in a long time.. and he did it in all situations. If he doesn't pan out in the regular season, Flynn will be the starter and have his shot.

Flynn is simply not starting not because he looks completely lost and like a giant piece of shit (like Kolb) but because another quarterback played great when Flynn simply played "good".

That's not the point of the conversation, it's about how everyone (here and national media) bashed Miami for not giving Flynn the bank to be their starter and said it was another Miami failure. great Google-Fu though on the numbers.

Yeah, it's pretty funny. A few months ago f16 harm was reading "don't kill myself books" because the Dolphins didn't sign Flynn to what pretty much everyone agreed was a reasonable contract given the NFL propensity for overpaying QB's(ie Kolb). Now, f16 is trying to act as though the Dolphins gave Flynn "the bank" despite Miami's backup making more than Flynn will. Pretty impressive turn around and general failure on f16's part.

Orrrrr maybe they offered him Matt Moore money and Flynn laughed at the state of the Dolphins, then chose to go to Seattle where he knew he wasn't guaranteed a starting bid.
I think Flynn's decision to go to Seattle was more about the Dolphins looking relatively awful than it was about the team not wanting him.
