Seriously considering selling my PS3 copy

...and picking up the 360 version. The only thing holding me back is the TST which I'm really excited about.

The few online games I have played have been laggy as hell and it appears the 360 version looks better.

How could you tell online games were laggy if you haven't used the Online Pass code?

My games have been pretty much lag-free from day one, but I did switch from wireless to a hard-wired connection just for this game.

You can use a 36 hour pass or 48 hour trial.. cant remember which one.

There is a trial. I havent experienced any lag in any of my games.

I don't know if it was bad luck but the few games I played were terrible. The last game I played with JayDiz started out bad but was fine for most of the game...until it disconnect with like a minute left. And I doubt it's something on my end because I checked my internet speeds and they are fine.

I've also played Madden 11 on 360 pretty recently and never had so much as a hiccup. I just think I'm getting tired of trying to play EA sports games on PS3. I already had NCAA on PS3 because I wanted in on Knubb's Dynasty and also my buddy in Michigan only has a PS3. Then I figured with imported rosters and also the TST I would get Madden for PS3. So far I'm regretting that decision.

It just seems that EA is so fucking lazy and gimps the shit out of teh PS3 versions of their sports games even though they supposedly signed some bullshit agreement with Sony this past year. For fucking what? They are still obviously designing games on 360 first and porting to PS3. Yet I don't have any problems with games like Portal 2, Battlefield, Uncharted, etc. It's just lazy ass fucking EA Sports.

I have had like 1 laggy game out of over 15 games played and I also haven't had 1 d/c. maybe I am lucky. The game just won't ever be as smooth as PS2 in this generation so we have to learn to accept it until PS4 comes out and hope EA can stick their shit out.

I have had like 1 laggy game out of over 15 games played and I also haven't had 1 d/c. maybe I am lucky. The game just won't ever be as smooth as PS2 in this generation so we have to learn to accept it until PS4 comes out and hope EA can stick their shit out.

Might be a change of plans guys. Looks like I'm keeping the game. I literally just talked to my cousin who is a HUGE Madden guy. Normally he buys both versions but he is only playing PS3 this year and he and I usually play a lot of head to head games so I'll be keep my copy. That, plus the TST. As long as I can actually get some smooth online games that should be a blast.

Again, I apologize to anyone that was interested.

And to PP, you know I'm not trying to slam the PS3. I obviously do prefer it as a console. But EA fucking pisses me off.

EA's laziness just fucking kills me. They cut corners and port their games to PS3 instead of spending a little extra time and doing it the other way around, which would make both versions look great. Anyone remember Tiger Woods from a few years ago? The trees didn't even move in the wind on PS3.

I would love to know what this actually "partnership" was that Sony forged with them at last years E3. Because it sure doesn't look like EA is living up to their side of that deal.
