'Splosion Man and this game are not the same types of games. SM is cool but frustrating at shit.

I won't disagree about them being different (hence the only bolding 2D games). Yeah, but you can't tell me you don't still love SM.

I'm stuck for some reason. I got halfway from the Foam upgrade to the Full Suit and I've hit a section I can't figure out how to get past because it has a spot blocked off with items that can only be taken out by the friction thing (they turn blue when the light is on them). Hopefully someone knows where I mean.

When you stumble into the final battle (it'll be up top, outside on the right side........so you know when you are directed there it's time)....the game saves itself right before you jump into battle.

So after the game is over, you can reload your game which will place you before that battle......where you can then head back through the game and work on 100%.

Does that work? When I beat it my first time I found I couldn't get back to areas in Purple...although that was before I learned the whole "stick the grenade to the foam" trick.

My favorite thing is to get the 12 gold bars. Once you do that, you have access to the golden guns at any point in the game. It makes speed runs and getting achievements a lot easier.

Well I just know you can continue running around the world. I've not gotten 100% yet so I can't say for sure if I can or not.

Once you beat the game, and start all over, the only thing that you get to keep is your level ranking. Otherwise, you start from scratch. But, if you've got the Level 20, and all the gold bars, you'll cruise through real quick.

And even faster at level 30. Infinite foam can get you just about anywhere.

same here Crimson....i beat it tonite also....last battle was WHOA....then meh. great game...i want that suit again....they should let you play through it with the suit......9/10 arcade game....

now on to Batman!!

Yeah, the ending stunk. The story, for the most part, pretty much stunk. Which was a little surprising considering how touted the whole "It's in Orson Scott Card's Empire universe!!! It's written by Peter David!!!" seemed to be. But ah well. It really is an amazing game.

Enjoy the proving grounds. It's fun to try and get platinums...until you start getting to some of the later challenges, which are just fucking insane. The last one took me a number of tries, and then when I see the assholes on the internet who can do it in like 45 seconds....ugh.

Finished the Hard courses and completed the 1st Extreme Course.

I also got 2 "Platinum" Medals on the Beginner courses.

I refuse to let any of the people on my friends list to better my times!! :joystick:

got all the proving ground challenges except for the last four which are insanely hard. like smash your controller on the ground hard. even the walkthroughs dont help much on them

You run out the room and go up the ladders to get out of the building as quick as you can. Eventually you get to the lift shaft and you use friction dampener to get up it. Once you're outside you're safe. But no that's not the end of the game.

Yeah, I had to use gamefaqs but I just finished it. Probably the best $15 I've ever spent.

If I didn't have so many other games I would play this game several more times. Trying to unlock all the rooms is a bit of a pain in the ass though. Trying to find a path to an unopened room can be a chore. I think I ended up with 95% of the rooms unlocked.
