sure modell was a figure in those things you mentioned. but its not like he was the driving force. he was just part of the team that got it done. All those things would have happened regardless of him. he didnt have anything to do with the ad revenue, or building up what MNF is today.

he was a terrible business man that won 1 title with paul browns team, using paul browns assistants....he mis managed his money so poorly that he was forced to sell his team. he was a 500 owner who made some horrible moves...fired paul brown, helped jim brown retire because he didnt want to pay him...traded warfield, signed rison to a 17 mil contract which was a joke for 1995...had to take out a loan to do it too.

oh and thanks to him all the tax payers in NFL cities have to fork over millions to keep their team cause modell was the greedy prick who decided to move his team. Now all cities are held hostage....New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Arizona, Miami and everybody else. you should really be putting a statue of Art outside your stadiums. his failure is your success.

baltimore fans make me sick when they talk about modell being in the hof. you praise this peice of shit when he did the same to us that Irsay did to you. but i guess colts fans didnt really care when they lost their team.... which is why they praise modell. i mean, if colts fans gave a shit they would have fought for their history and colors.

The big difference is Sapp did what he did on the interior. You could argue he's the best pass-rushing DT of all-time. And he was an anchor of a defense that was near the top of the league for like a decade. Strahan will likely get in eventually.

I'm a Giants fan so it pains me to say this but that he's 5th all-time is just evidence of all the decades that category was ignored by the league. The game's history goes back 80 years if you just go back to its first championship game. They didn't start counting sacks until 1982. That said, I'll reiterate my belief he'll get in sooner or later.
