I've seen one episode of the the UK version, five minutes of the US. It's bad. Apparently there is talk of the US Misfits as well. Skins ans Misfits are the same thing to me, and making them in America is just going to make them worse.

Haven't watched any of the US version but.. with the UK version, I literally watched 2 seasons of it on Netflix without realizing if I liked it or not. It was addictive though (finished the 2 seasons in probably under 2 weeks time)

I Tivo'd the episodes and watched it when I had nothing else to watch. I didn't hate it, but didn't really love it. Too over the top at most times with the cheesy shit.

The finale sucked, the only redeemable qualities in the show are the hot blonde and the Chris dude that's pretty funny.

I watched one episode because I couldn't sleep one night and wanted to rip my eyeballs out. I was literally stunned at how completely ridiculous it was.

the british version (i.e. the good one) started season 7 earlier this month... now that its back to concentrating on effy (kaya scodelario's smoking hot ass), it has piqued my interest again...
