I wish they would increase the size of the roster..I really think they could.
I wish they would have a better career mode as well. One that you start on a smaller show (house show, etc.) and work your way up through the card eventually landing on something like Shotgun Saturday Night (or whatever it is now..). Of course I haven't seen any information on the career mode for this year..has anything been released?

One that you start on a smaller show (house show, etc.) and work your way up through the card eventually landing on something like Shotgun Saturday Night (or whatever it is now..). Of course I haven't seen any information on the career mode for this year..has anything been released?

Eh, I'll stay optimistic but I'm not saying it's awesome before actually playing the damn game. Been fooled waaaaaay too many times by THQ with the SvR series.
Sidenizzle - So wait, you have to pre-order the game at Gamestop in order to get Stone Cold? That's some BS if that's the only way you can get him.
Where is the info about Career Mode?
Yes, since Here Comes the Pain they've been AWFUL.
I remember 2 years ago they said you could be either a heel or a face, yet even when you did different things you ended up as a face.
They've been going downhill REAL fast story mode.
As far as the reason why you have the released guys in the game... because it just takes too much work to take them out... especially if you had them in career mode. I think (hope) we all remember the amazingness that was Steven Richards in No Mercy. They replaced The Big Show (who was sent to OVW for weight loss) with Steven Richards. So you would be in main event programs with Richards.
I liked the basic career mode of Smackdown 2 (I think?) where it was endless.
I wish they would implement a career mode similar to WWF Attitude (where you start on House Shows) and then work your way up. They need to make it at least 20-30+ years (or no end for Ric Flair) and make it mean something. I don't want to create a guy, wrestle 2 or 3 main event matches and be the world champion. I should be fighting for a job at the start of my career with some no-name from *insert city hosting show* so I can earn my respect. It might be hard to do..but damn it would add replay value. Also over the course of career mode maybe have SvR create superstars and add them into the mix as well..no way they could do that, but it would be pretty cool if they could actually implement something like that.
Just give me a good career mode and I'm happy.
