So, I just got a PS3

I have a 360 and Wii already. I figure I can buy some older used games for the PS3 (along with Ghostbusters, which I got yesterday). Anything been out for a while that's really good that you guys would recommend?

I got a new 80GB, but I still have my PS2 hooked up anyway, not that I've played it in forever.

MLB The Show easy, well if your a baseball fan atleast. Other than that you have InFamous and Fallout 3 if your an action adventure fan. Also look at Uncharted, another solid title and should find it easily under $30.

PS3 only good if your a die hard baseball fan. And the show isnt a system seller this year. Way to many flaws to be a system seller. Are you into Metal Gear? thats worth playing, but once your done are u gonna play it again?

To be honest if you just like to play Sports and Shooters yeah there is no reason to get one, just stick with what you got as thats all the 360 is good at making. Well unless you don't have Live then you really have nothing to play.

Again it all depends on the types of games you enjoy, once you know those its easy to pick out titles to fit your needs as the Ps3 actually does have solid titles to play outside of the shooter/sports category unlike the 360.

Show is a must if you are a baseball fan.

For used or older games, I'd recommend Resistance.

Little Big Planet is fun as well, adding to list of games already mentioned in here. Burnout Paradise on the PS Store is fun as well.

MGS4 might be the greatest game I have ever played. Uncharted and inFamous are both fucking amazing. R&C is just an awesome game. It was so good I wnt out and bought all of the old PS2 R&C games.

Three of those games, R&C, MGS4 and inFamous are all long as shit too. You definitely get your monies worth.

I just read Maynard's "butt hurt" post. It has nothing to do with being "butt hurt". Maiking a statement like you did is just assanine. I could easily say the same thing abut the 360. The fact of the matter is that the guy is asking opinions on what games he should get for the PS3. Your posts were FAILS, plain and simple.
