for you guys who have the demo, from what you can tell (I know it's limited) what's the "realistic" level ?? AP ?? or AM ??.. In years gone by this question would always be split and eventually go the way of AM, especially when rollin' o/l.. but is AM as it's always been ?? and it just becomes a matter of adjusting or what ??.. or "could" the new standard be AP for o/l play this year ??.. just curious of 1st impressions..

NW...If 09 had man D then Id of wanted all pro. Without man D though zones needed to be tougher so I was happy with AM.

Now with how we see man D has improved I guessing AP will be the best level. Factoring in all the rating given to players why juice that using AM setting?

If your any good at the game then AP games should be on par with actual NFL game score wise. Playing someone without smarts our skill though it would be lopsided scores.

So why give the lesser skilled ballers the advantage of having juiced players? If anything you are playing the cpu ai more than the baller . I personally think the game should be played on AP and with that skill and smarts are more of a factor in winning and losing.

I have only played two games so far, one on AP and one on AM. My initial reaction is that AP is where it's at this year. AM just seems too unrealistic. CB's jump routes that they shouldn't, line doesn't block like it should, etc.

every year it starts with all pro bring perferred then once people learn the game and offense is easy we are all gonna play all madden.

only plus side to all pro is that we wont need the tracker anymore.

I have been liking the extended demo more on All-Pro than All-Madden. Might delay the start of the league season a few days to let guys get some online games in and get a consensus opinion on what would be the best for everyone to use. Last year's AM was not pleasant.

AP isn't very challenging vs the cpu. Have to see how it plays online.

I can admit AP felt more natural than AM. I only played one game on each level, though. Keep in mind every year there is a slight adjustment period to AM and AP could become too easy as we continue to play the game. I was able to move the ball with relative ease on AP my first try and that's with the shitty camera I had to deal with. I can only imagine how much easier it will be as I play more and more. For now, I'll agree and say AP is the better mode, but that could easily change.

Good post, Timmy. This is exactly how I feel about the game so far. I want the ratings to be a factor and be what decides the play on the field, not the difficulty.

And NW, like houtz said, if you want to try out the demo we can get it to you. Let one of us know.

Ok, so I dig what i'm readin' so far.. sounds like AP "could" be the way to go, of course all depending on the adjustment period, or if the AM is just beyond ridiculous..

That's not how it works, Ndub. You can't use the code more than once, but you can download the demo more than once after you've used it. I would tell you to get on AIM but I know you don't have it, lol. You can receive PMs, right? Get back to me in this thread and I will PM you my account info (username and password) and you can login with my account and then go to the PSstore, go to the top right where it says "downloads" or recent downloads, or download history or something, then you can download it again on my account, logout of my account, and it will be on your hard drive for you to use on your account.

Get back to me so I know that you're here and I'll send you the PM.
