The only thing I'll say is I was sorta shocked the first time I played NW on Madden 12. Very first drive he goes 3 n out but on 4th and 1 or 2 he calls a fake punt run from his own 30. I stopped it but really didn't think he would go for it. Now as you can see he would go for it on 4th down four more time this game. so take it fwiw.

again foiled and stymied by your secondary.. I tried to keep you guessin'..
and like you said I out-played ya, but the turnover battle you won..

That was a great game .. LoL.. I had to go back and check the stats on
that one.. crazy game in fact.. funny thing is, that's the one time I ran the
fake punt just to see how it reacts in '12', got my answer.. LoL.. in the form
of an "L".. your secondary went berzerk on me that 2nd half, that much I do
remember.. and that 2nd half is what forced me to go slightly unconventional..
playing catchup can be a pain in the ass, and more times than not I lose
trying..
I have no real problem with it because I know when it's coming and I "adjust".

& one more thing.. Dave, the thing that kills me is this..
It just bugs me man. I don't want you to expect anything.
But I want to always think I'm playing you str8 up. When you
went for it on 4th in the 3rd quarter, it surprised me too,
but I didn't care - it was NWSaint.
Frankly, I love playing you because it isn't like playing everyone else.

this whole thread and check the stats, yeah I go for it on 4th, so is that
really new news ?? I told ya, i'm .500, sometimes slightly higher, sometimes
slightly lower, it's my game, I haven't changed since the days of MM, and now
it's an issue ?? c'mon man............really ??.. think of it like this, how many
downs are in football ?? the last time I looked there's 4, so isn't it really up to
the coach how to use 4 downs ?? where is it written that I HAVE TO punt on
4th ?? If I go for it and lose then chances are whomever i'm playing has
excellent field position, and if I win then I gotta new set of downs.. but i'll
be damned if ANYONE is gonna dictate to me how I should use my 4.. this
shouldn't even be a discussion.. & with the exception of that crazy game vs.
DDR I average goin' for it on 4th 2 times a game, if at all.. again, go back &
look over the stats, believe it or not there's some tight f'n games that I didn't
go for it on 4th at all, and why ?? situations .. but that's for me to decide if
and when to go for it.. understand ?? And for the last time Dave, my game
is the same as it's always been.. if I get ballsy and go for it don't lose your
mind, just understand (like you said) it's NWSaint.. LoL!.. I mean really.
PS- DDR.. if you've read this far i'm amazed.. LoL.. but hey, didn't mean to
give ya the ignore the other day when ya hit me up, I was in mid-game and
debating wether to go for it on a crucial 4th down or not (LMMFAO! j/k..), but
I was in mid-game and yeah, we gotta run VERY soon.. can't wait to go at it
again.. we always seem to have good games.. check ya soon.
