For what it's worth, that game is how games should be played.. solid, from
begining to end.. So after 4 QTR's and the game tied at 14, it breaks down
like this..

The Setup: I came "this" close to electing to kickoff.. LoL.. yeah, caffeine is
kinda' crazy with the fingers at times.. LoL.. you didn't see it, but I really
thought I elected to kick..won the toss, Saints receive..

The fumble: first few plays no problem, til' Mark Ingram (rookie) takes the
ball outta single-back twin TE right up the gut, gets hammered, loses the
ball, PHI ball, or so it appeared ?? I'm frantically tryin' to figure out someway
to get a challenge, nada, all appeared lost until..

The Booth Review: that f'n Jeapordy theme needs to go away, none of us
wait that long for the refs to come off with the decision, which in this case
was................overturned..............Saints ball *slight stroke*

So o/t continues on for a couple more plays vs. that tough as nails PHI-D,
about a minute and a half to go in o/t the Saints methodically tryin' to get
it down the field and into f/g range.. 3rd and 7, nada, takes it to 4th and 7
and everything goes silent..

The Play: Spread-5-wide Shotgun.. Brees is snapped the ball, fades back,
option 1- Lance Moore quick slant across the middle (lock-down), option 2-
Robert Meachem screaming down the field, nada, too risky, option 3- the man
who Brees has been hit'n all day long, Jimmy Graham (TE), sets back,
launches the ball, Jimmy looks like he has the DB (safety ?) beat, they both
go for the ball, it's received by...................................................PHI!!

#^&^%**#%^($&%$^%#$#$&*!!!!

The ending: 5 plays later, :28 on the clock from the 38 yd. line, PHI lines
up, the ball is snapped, and..

BALLGAME!!

I don't mean to be a critic, but I think you should do a whole lot more shotgun with that team, Saint. You have a lot of speed at WR and Graham.

LoL.. Dave, let me put it like this, the last time I didn't play with the Saints
I played with the Houston Oilers, and that 90 squad is exactly the reason I
open it up when I want to.. again, think chess-match.. yeah I can throw, but
I also wanna run.. still tryin' to learn the nuances of a rushing attack.. got
some good RB's on the Saints, just tryin' to figure out how to utilize ALL of
them, that is all, so no more suggestions about me being the Eagles.. *wink*

That first game had me more ticked off than anything else.. I know when I
get behind early that it's spread-offense time through the air!....... FAIL!
4 turnovers do not win a game.. the thing I should've been paying more
attention to is how well Chris Ivory was run'n out of the 4-wide single back
set, and stuck with it earlier, but noooo I gotta make stupid mistakes that
ended up costing me in the end.. that was a solid game on your part bra',
that's why YOU get coach-of-the-game honors.. you had a gameplan on both
sides of the ball, stuck with it and got the "W"..... that's a solid right there.

BUT.. onto game #2.. ohhhhh maaaan, now, knowing that you had my pass
attack in check it was time to find out what da' rookie Mark Ingram was made
of, even though he did horrible in game #1 I just knew that he had more than
what he showed, so I think 14 carries for 130 yards earned him the games
P.o.G.. showing glimpses of what happens when he gets loose.. the poor
mans CJ LoL.. so between him, Ivory and Thomas it turned out to be all about
keeping you off the field, and when you were on the field perhaps a little heat
to make sure nothing silly took place, like you scoring at will ::flashbacks to
game #1:: .. frightening!!.. So Helo' my bruddah', good games boss, and if
it weren't for a 1st half disconnect btwn. HMF and myself i'd be at 7-7 right
now, so don't let the record be deceiving.. hahahahah.. we'll rematch it up
soon, and thanks for the chance to run a double-header.. cya!

Maaaaan, we've been wayyy overdue to run a game.. I really do wish the
results of this game were like the one from this past Thursday (which btw
was a great ballgame, good luck with your guys the rest of the season, AR
looks berzerk!).. Anyways, I had to keep AR off the field, hence the 3-headed
rush attack.. I know you were probably wondering when I was gonna start
launching it down the field, well, I could've, but that would ended up with
either a). quick scoring, b). INT's or c). AR back on the field, and don't think
for a second that I don't know you know how to utilize ALL your WR's, you
showed glimpses during certain drives that just had me shaking my head.. I
was like "oh no, here we go", but Saints-D did a admirable job of keeping
things at bay, and that's why the whole D-unit gets a gameball.. they made
sure that no shenanigans would get outta' hand.. So again MB, I thank you
for the game, and we'll definetly rematch soon, but see that we do!!!! I don't
wanna wait til' Madden-13 comes out before run'n with ya again, so hit me
up sometime.. I know your a league guy and probably spend a lot of time
run'n those games, but there's no excuse as to why we can't keep a nice
NFC rivalry goin' *wink* .. check ya soon bra'.

I swear, if I didn't know better i'd think that each of us attempting to run a
lil' more.. *smile*.. man, you make me think too much.. can't believe you
knocked out my main man Jimmy Graham.. POW!.. and that boy was out
cold.. goodness.. no more of that down the line.. But ultimately it (so what
else is new between you and I) it came down to "D"!!.. namely Saints-D!.. the
up front pressure seemed to show (for whatever reason), and all that meant
was to lock up the outside, hence you in the 4th nailing Cooley multiple times
cuz you knew it was me one on one with him and you'd catch me napping,
well, what can I say, I kept tryin' to go for the ball and be a sliver off, lessons
learned there as well, I guess i'll just have to beat the hell out of him coming
off the line the next time.. LoL.. i'll take the flag!!.. So we'll rematch soon
