He was legally drunk!
This wasn't a simple accident.
It was still an accident.....That may have been caused by negligent, irresponsible, and criminal choices. I don't have particulars about the accident, so I don't know how much alcohol played into the accident. But still, driving after drinking deserves legal action.
Leonard Little should have been kicked out of the league or at least suspended for a year.
Ten times worse than Stallworth because he actually did it twice.
LL's was far worse. Both are bad. Bad enough for a suspension, along with the legal action.
Indeed. But Stallworth deserves the same.
He does deserve whatever Goodell decides. However long that suspension may be.
Little killed the woman before Goodell. That was Tagliabue's call. During his tenure, I'm pretty sure he would have let Rae Carruth come back.
Yeah, you really can't compare the two suspesions...Different Commish's.
He killed a person, because he was drunk
He was driving drunk. That itself deserves criminal action and something from the league.
Stallworth desrves more than 30 dys in jail
I'm not the grieving family of the victim, and I don't have particulars on the case, so I won't make a statement on what criminal action he does or does not deserve. And I won't criticize the family for what they have requested.
he deserves to be shot by a firing squad for murder. driving drunk and killing someone is murder not manslaughter, because they made a choice to drive drunk when they left the house to go get drunk(JMHO).
I'm glad your so against drunk driving, but this is somewhat of a dumb statement. It's not murder. Murder requires intent to do harm. He doesn't deserve to be shot by a firing squad. I think it's something like vehicular manslaugher, or negligent homocide, or something like that....Not murder.
Good people make bad, irresponsible, even criminal decisions that have dire consequences. It doesn't necessarily make them a bad person.
An evil person intentionally does brutal harm to others. An evil person intentionally does evil.
A good person can make horribly bad decisions. I don't know enough about Stallworth to say whether he is evil or not, so I'll assume he's good.
I'm guessing your comment about the firing squad and murder was off the cuff and fueled by anger.
