Sure it wasn't perfectly flat on the ice but I've seen hundreds of guys one time the shit out of bouncing pucks into empty nets. It happens all the time. Saying that it goes over the net 95% of the time is retarded. Maybe for you it does, but again, you're not in the nhl.

Didn't say I was in the NHL but ok. I'm sure you've seen hundreds of guys one time bouncing pucks but I've probably seen 1000s of misses.

Anyways there's tons of them like that. Ovy is probably the biggest guy I can think off the top of my head that just launches pucks into the netting thanks to his stick curve. Stamkos does a really good job at getting accurate shots out of almost anything but beyond that its really hard for most guys to do it. 95% just seems like a safe bet. I can't seem to find any sites that track this sort of thing.

Canadians goal all playoffs is to generally jump out to an early lead then sit back and defend. They lead or were tied with the Bruins something like 87% of the time all series which is retarded good. Bruins really screwed themselves over by basically not coming out and playing a full game which the Rangers are going to have to do. The first 10mins are crucial.

Your going to see Vanek, Pacioretty and Desharnais on every PP to start and if the Rangers ice the puck you'll be seeing them on. Vanek and Pacioretty play together a lot so that'll be interesting to see who the Rangers go with for defensive matchups.

Eller, Bourque and Gionta will be more of a shut down pairing.

Briere will sneak on for 4th line shifts and that's where you'll get retarded goals because he's generally playing with the weakest competition.

Gallagher plays everywhere and can be annoying.

The weakness comes on defense where they rely heavily on 4 guys. Markov, Emelin are usually against the big guns and Subban, Georges go second. The 3rd pairings just constantly rotate but they only get like maybe 10mins a game.

The best way to beat the Canadiens is to not take stupid penalties and wear them down. Their defense gets frustrated and take stupid penalties. Markov and Emelin both constantly take reactionary penalties and I think that's what the Bruins were trying to attack. Subbans really cooled off after his fast start. Whatever the Bruins were doing in the later games has to be matched.

Oh and Carey Price is a better goalie than Lunqvist. Might be the Canadian part of me though.

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is out for the remainder of the Eastern Conference finals against the New York Rangers, coach Michel Therrien told reporters Monday morning.

Montreal goalie Carey Price suffered an apparent lower-body injury in the Canadiens' 7-2 Game 1 loss.
"We've lost our best player, but we've faced adversity this year already," Therrien said.

Price suffered an apparent lower-body injury in Montreal's series-opening 7-2 loss Saturday after a collision with Rangers forward Chris Kreider.

Though Price continued to play after the contact, he was pulled after two periods, during which he surrendered four goals on 20 shots.

Several Canadiens players, and Therrien, were upset about Kreider's actions on the play, insisting he did not do enough to avoid contact.

Therrien called it a "reckless play" Monday in his pregame press briefing from the team's practice facility in Brossard, Quebec.

"I'm really disappointed," Therrien said. "Obviously he's our best player. Looking at the incident, it's a reckless play. That's the truth."

Therrien told reporters that he has made a decision on who would start in net for Game 2 but did not wish to make it public.

The Canadiens could go with backup Peter Budaj, who relieved Price for the third period of Game 1 and gave up three goals on five shots, or 24-year-old Dustin Tokarski, who played 41 games for the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League this season.

Neither goaltender was made available to the media Monday morning.

It really is great to see St. Louis doing so well after his mother passing away. I've always liked him and have wanted him to do well so it's kind of turned me into a Rangers fan since the Sharks are out and I hate LA and Chicago since they always beat the Sharks.

Hank has been outstanding in these playoffs. I'm in awe in some of the saves he makes to allow NY to stay in the game and eventually grab a lead.

He's incredibly strong in the crease and always seems to know where the puck is. He's just been on one. I think he's been a little bit more consistent than Quick as far as the top goaltenders go.

As a Habs' fan, I hate that Price is out ... but I don't think anything Kreider did was wrong. Even if Therrien deems the play "reckless" ... wtf? That's the NHL playoffs. They are not a chess match. Shit happens.
And the Rangers have outplayed my team in both games, no argument.

All that said, like Bart at Kamp Krusty, I still believe Krusty is coming to Kamp.

But, while I hate that we lost both home games, the Habs have no one to blame but themselves.
