Jussi Jokinen is a playoff beast right now. 8 game point streak, and has scored 9 points in 10 games. People also bash the Penguins, but you can't deny the amount of talent and scoring depth they have. Yes, they are not a grind it out team like the West teams are, but they still showing how they win by scoring. And with MAF plays well, it's pretty simple to win.

It's a matter of making adjustments with them, something Bylsma has been unwilling to do for most of his career. Still a little upset he won't bench Scuderi.

Dale Weise and Mike Weaver, non-descript trade deadline deals that have been great for Montreal. Thomas Vanek for pretty much nothing, another great deadline deal.

Get over the fact your team did nothing at the deadline and my team got it right.

I'm not saying we're gonna beat Boston, not stupidly over-confident, but my team's playoff series is the most interesting in round 2 and you're just pissed because your team sucked for the second half of the season.

Its my fav. rebuttal from people. Dummies who seem to think once their fav team is out the playoffs don't matter. Just forget the fact that I watch probably 50 to 60 non leaf games during the regular season alone...

I'm not hating. I'm basing my opinion on stats. Rene Bourque lit up the first round on a pace that isn't sustainable even for him. The stats say that and I would tend to agree.

Wiese is the same... the guy scored a goal coming out of the penalty box on a lucky five hole goal... I dunno what else to say there.

The vanek deal was dam good and I've never brought him up outside of referencing their odd forwards. Mike Weaver was needed to find someone to get Murray (aka the boat anchor) off the ice. Again a fairly solid deal.

My team didn't upgrade because the GM is being retarded. One of the reasons I hope for a new front office soon.

Bruins called up Fraser. Not word if hes going to replace Caron in the lineup, move Paille back to 4th line or if someone is hurt. They did drop down Florek so I feel like this is to try to spark the 3rd line to score.

We had this discussion in my office, that while MAF has bad moments, because of the team he plays on he is put under the spotlight so much more compared to other goalies. When you play with the face of the game, it is going to happen.

If Montreal wins, it's a:tyrone: into the finals.

Didn't see Soderberg but I read he took his option. Seems to be battling some kind of injury or maybe fatigue.


I would like to see these lines. Would also be open to bumping Soderbeg to top line center dutie for a few shifts just to see what happens. Maybe give Krejci a boost playing against a lesser line.

Team is showing lots of heart, more than I have seen ALL year.

The Penguins seem to be succumbing to the pressure a bit and Hank is frustrating them immensely. Should be a fun game 7.
