Checked out the Niners playbook. Some good things in there, but might end up being a little too basic for my tastes. Philly does look nice. I like the Steelers book again from using it in the demo. I may have to go a bit more conservative than I'm used to if I use the Niners exclusively just because the QB situation is so shitty. I'll definitely have to try out a handful before choosing one though.

Can someone give me an opinion of the 49ers playbook? im at work so i cant view it. is it more up to date with more power running or does ea still think we have mike martz as our OC?

it looks like Martz ball to me, i looked at the run balanced and think that would fit your style better man. It has enough good passing plays to get you by in it.

i hate how so many of these plays are in every playbook. Whats the point of team specific playbooks if the majority of them have 80% shared plays? Then they put the same plays in different formations too.

just looking at San Diego they had a flea flicker and a HB pass, havent saw a Reverse yet.

The wildcat plays have a Jet Sweep where the WR comes in motion and takes the handoff

Can anyone find me a playbook that is good for a team with 2 halfbacks and 2 Tight ends as the featured offensive weapons? I need some 2 TE sets other than just Singleback Ace.

My TGT Chargers feature Darren Sproles, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, and Antonio Gates as the main offensive weapons. I'll get Chambers and Vincent Jackson some touches whenever there are leftovers to be had.

They have full house, a set with 2tes bunched right and 2 wrs split out left, shotgun sets with split backs. its looking nice so far

Because 80% of the NFL DOES run the same stuff.

The NFL offense is predicated off running a relatively small number of concepts out of a ton of formations. Change formations to manipulate the defense into the look you want to see and use plays that exploit that look.

The NFL coaching tree has fewer branches than one from an Arkansas trailer park.

There are only about 3 true "lines"- Walsh-Parcells-Johnson (Jimmy). Those lines have been interbreeding since the early 90s to the point that they all pretty much run the same shit. The same coaches have been bouncing around the league for years.

agreed, but the issue i have is with run plays.

For example, the I Form Normal will have Iso and Iso weak. This is the same play being run to both sides of the center. You dont need both because you can do a run flip and flip the ISO to have what EA added as the Iso weak

Seattle? Near and Far could get 2 hbs for passing on to the feild and 2 tight ends if you package one in . Would also work good for running as they normally have the best counters/tosses for speed backs

Also the split set in seattle from under center can get 2 hbs and 2 tes on the feild

They also have two nice bunch sets

Definately. I also like how they have multiple dive plays in the same formation. Dive, plunge ect. all in the same formation. Stupid. They're all just holdovers, just delete them already.
