Team Tanking The Best

There is alot of tank riding on this for the Warriors. If the Warriors win one of their last two games, they have played themselves right out of their draft pick, Utah will get it.

The win vs. Minnesota Sunday night really hurt the Warriors chances of hanging on to their #7 pick.

If the Warriors lose their last two games, they will be tied for 7th worst record with the NJ/Tor Thurs winner, and they will do a coin flip for the 7th spot. If the Warriors win that coin flip, they keep the 7th pick. If W's lose the coin flip Utah gets their pick at #8.

Last night was one of the most bizzare scenes I've seen in sports.

Warriors at home,,,and fans cheering the Hornets on in the final minutes...so so bizzare. Mark Jackson benching Klay Thompson in the 4th qtr because of a possible kick to the shin, and Mark Jackson saying afterwards, he wanted an opportunity to see what others guys have...lol. Then CJ with a desperation drive, and Rudi's bff Chris Wright with the goaltend to seal the loss! There was actually confetti thrown after the loss,,lol.

The Warriors are coming from a whole different angle with the tank. The other teams who persay might be tanking, are tanking for a better % at a higher pick. The Warriors don't even have a pick, they are tanking persay to keep their pick. This is all quite sad I have to even root for this.

I actually think the Warriors may have purposely tried to lose the game at the end. They wanted to give the fans a good game but still lose. It was just too much how they let the game get away from them in the final minutes. I dont know how you can convince the players to do that, but im sure they're all well aware of the draft pick situation.

Ya, they are definately well aware, so pretty much the young guys can just go out there and wing it and do what they want, which is the appettite for a loss without really having to say it literally. For those of the very few who watched the game, the shots Jeremy Tyler and Jenkins were putting up were LOL. Especially Tyler. Dude was just trying all different stuff. And sitting Klay for the 4th qtr, was given all sorts of execuses, kicked in the shin, foul trouble (he only had 4), and Jackson saying he wanted to give other guys a chance...lol.

They do flips for two team tie breakers, and then draws for more than two.

This is true, but without winning the flip and getting the 7th spot, we have no draft pick, other teams are not in that position. 8th pick or below Utah would get it. So it's not really about moving up in the draft like other tankers, because they have a pick at least, we might not.

Again I'm not saying this is what I wanted. I wanted a better Monta trade, or a no Monta trade. To fold this team only 3 games back of the 8th playoff spot was ludicrious. But then the situation fell to just holding on to the that draft protected pick from a bad bad trade so that's what was left to root for.

The warriors out there were really playing, it wasn't like they weren;t trying,,,,just that they aren;t guys you are gonna give solid minutes in the nba too, and basically open the play book. Last night was the first time in NBA history a team started 5 rookies. Again, I never wanted this, but now I just gotta hope for at least getting a 1st round draft pick.

Ok so Warriors won the coin flip. They are at #7, A\as of right now they keep the pick. So 1st step is avoided.

BUT, the lottery still has to go according to plan. If one the teams below them jump to the top 3 and get lucky, warriors would fall to 8 and no more pick.
