CLOG UP AT SMALL FORWARD GOING TO BE A PROBLEM LONG TERM?
Currently the Clippers have 3 available small forwards that are, or could be starters. Starting SF Al Thornton, and bench players Rasual Butler and Corey Brewer.
Because of the situation Rasual Butler is now used as the backup Shooting Guard which the team is fine with but questions have come out surrounding whether or not this is good for the team.
While some say see it as great depth for the team others say the team would benefit by making a move and having a solid starting SF and a solid backup 6th man. According to comments made by starting point guard Baron Davis it seems like the Clippers team disagree and are liking there squad as it is.
"Our guys are happy with there roles, we knew when making a trade to bring Corey [Brewer] to Los Angeles that it would affect Rasual's minutes but there was a decision made and Rasual is as happy as anyone on the side at the moment" - Baron Davis

Last game in New Orleans the Clippers Eric Gordon came down awkwardly after jumping for a contested ball, Clippers fans went silent for a minute.
Thankfully its nothing serious, its just a sore knee which wont be 100% until a few days according to the Clippers medical staff. Its going to be an on-the-day decision whether or not he will see minutes against the top seeded Lakers.
“Hopefully I will be able to see normal playing time, its just a bit sore right now but I’m confident I can play against the Lakers tomorrow” – Eric Gordon

Early in the game JR doesn’t put a lot of effort chasing the ball as Gordon makes a great hustle play.
Camby- “This will be my last season”
After the Clippers 2 point loss to the Nuggets, Marcus Camby announced at the after game press that he would retire at the end of this season.
Camby, the 13 year veteran has been a Clipper for only 2 seasons but has decided to call it quits as he feels this year would be the right time.
“You know, I’m getting old [laughs], but seriously. I feel this team we’ve got now can definitely make the playoffs this year or in the next couple. I’d love to see this group of great guys make it because they deserve it, it’d be a great way to end a career. I feel also to benefit guys like DeAndre [Jordan] this is the right decision, its time to let others take my spot.” – Marcus Camby after the Denver game.
Camby’s number have gone down this season mainly because of the addition of number one pick in the draft Blake Griffin but Marcus said he expected nothing more.
“My role this season is to help guys like Blake, give him a few tips and help him out. And out on the court just be a leader and do the little things that count. That is perfect for me this season.”
