Why do you guys think Microsoft is going all out for the Kinect this year? they still won't touch the Wii numbers IMO. Without an iconic little plumber, blob of pink, little elf looking fucker or gorilla the Kinect will never touch those numbers. Just think... its about time for production to really speed up on Nintendo's next console... I will def be picking it up. There are a shitload of games pushed towards kids, that's obvious, but that's not to say that Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong (which is actually pretty dam hard) and Mario games aren't good or challenging. The games are easy to pick up, hard to master. I like that about the system.

I perfer PS3 over all consoles. But like OOBL (and probably the majority of us) I have owned all 3 systems. 1PS3, 1 Wii, and 3 360's (2 red circles and 1 elite that got jacked). The S3 has just been loyal. Free online gaming, Better sports community and better exclusives (imo). The Wii probably does have better selling titles and I'm part of that consumer market, but they are still geared towards kiddies. Which is smart, parents want their kids playing non-violent video games (still think parents make a child, not media). Bottom line..... I heart video games! Just wish my personal experience with Xbox wasn't so bad or I'd probably buy a new one. Shit, I will eventually anyways. If Twigg had sold me his old HD, I was going to buy a core system.

If not, my MBP has a built-in one that is fairly solid. Also, I should be getting a nice condenser microphone for my birthday in February.

I don't think we want to have an online chat party. I've never spoken to anyone from VSN, so that clearly isn't my goal.
