I found it, with a little more time to spend.

Probably one of my favorite RPG's of all time. Anyone familiar with it?

All I know is that it's the sequel to "Secret of Mana," right?

And I'm glad you found the game you were looking for... Dark Cloud's got the same town-building premise to it but I'm guessing you don't feed trees in it then.

Oh and Jay, you better pick SVER. In the beta, I think I lost maybe 10 times out of 70 matches with SVER. Only team that seemingly works together.

From what I've heard, either you get a good squad commander who knows what he is doing or you have a bunch of dumbasses picking their noses, calling each other "fag" online.

I may pick SVER because of their team maps (easier to defend) but I'm digging VALOR as well.

BlazBlue:Continuum Shift leaked online today. After downloading it, i found out the hard way that my laptop can not play it at all.

Downloaded Mass Effect 2 for 360..or at least the first disk, however, and my 360 can play that just fine.

About to 2nd prestige on MW2 as well. Overall, a not-so-good day. (really wanted blazblue, damnit.)

Also look into Seiken Densetsu 3 (which would be the real Secret of Mana 2 if it were ever released in the US). You can find English translated roms on the net and it is fucking amazing.

Intel was hard? All you have to do is drop the difficulty to Casual and use YouTube. The entire campaign is only like four hours anyway.


By the way, Conan was the best $1 I've ever spent. Very fun game.

I'm fearful about what's been changed and what the Zipper team "fixed" themselves with no input.

Of course, MAG's been playtested throughly by spawn campers, griefers and bums who can't play 1st person shooters like me, so why worry?

As for Dark Cloud, I've never played it but I do know about it.

You may know that Sony is putting together a reality show where human beings caper for our amusement. That's regular stuff. But the prize they're competing for - a testing position - is, to be clear, not the sort of thing one competes for.

We know a lot of testers. Testing is an umbrella term in the gaming industry, and isn't entirely sufficient as a descriptor. My friend Clinton did "testing" at Microsoft on the original Xbox, and this testing involved him opening and closing the system's drive tray all day. He just got back from Iraq, but if I were to ask him what the most unrelenting and psyche abrading job he ever held was, I know he'd have to pause a moment before answering.

To the extent that all the people who play games even want the same job, it sure as shit ain't tester. It's brutal slog after brutal slog, crunch after crunch after crunch, and when you land a game you're actually interested in it arrives in a state which is often deeply unlike that of a videogame. Some testers are able climb the corpses of their fellow man and move north in the hierarchy. It does happen. But not every day

No it wasn't hard but just the process of doing it was a bitch.

Traded in Madden 10 and got Assassin's Creed 2, excellent decision. AC2 is way better than AC1. Just much more do and its just more fun. I also like how Leonardo da Vinci is your friend, total shock when they said his name early in the game.
