Why can't I like Modern Warfare 2 as much as Modern Warfare? It must be because Infinity Ward overdid it with all the perks and experience points and all that. It just feels to cheesy to me.

Also, it is really fucking gay that money flys off of your guy when you die. I am not playing GTA IV, I don't want to see money come off of a soldier, its unbelievably gay.

I'm in full agreement. My comment was more geared towards the fact that JMS said it was a "similar GoW game on the 360." I was pointing out that not only was it more than similar but it' also available on PS3 so it's like getting two GoW's on that console.

It's probably because it's the same game as MW1.

By the way, I hit Level 40 on Borderlands and finished off Dr. Ned. Now all I have is one more bounty board quest and about 100 brains to collect and then on to try the hard challenged in Underdome.

The money is associated with the "Pay Back" thing when you kill someone that's previously killed you or whatever. That's when it happens.

You know, it really is the same game. They fine tuned the gameplay a little but other than that its the same. No real improvements were made, instead they loaded us up with perks, killstreaks, and maps that are way to exploitable. They said they wanted to make the maps more "vertical", in the end I think it actually hurt them.

All that said, I did enjoy this single player more than COD 4's and Spec Ops is pretty cool but doesn't offer much replay ability.

So far I've been pretty unimpressed with the PS3. I've only played a bit of Oblivion, Resistance and about 5 minutes of Demon's Souls, so time will tell.

It's a bad ass BR player, though.

agreed although i did have an insignia br player (best buy brand) and it was just as good and i caught it on sale for 100 bucks im playin uncharted 1 mlb the show and i have an unopened copy of uncharted two, i might get killzone two when the price drops but overall im still kinda not very impressed

PS3 online stinks compared to 360. I never had an issue getting on MW2for the 360, I repeatedly get kick out of lobbies without ever getting a match in.

Is it a deal breaker? Not really, but it's really annoying. (Plus, no headset...really? I dont' get a headset?)

So far I'm liking the GoW series, and I'm pumped for The Show (I've wanted to play that for years, but never had a playstation).

Sidenote, after stinking for the last week I magically got good (well...respectable) at CoD again today. I've been absolutely brutal for week (we're talking 5-15 games regularly) but I had multiple games with 10+ kill streaks today and finished .500 or better every game. 3 "MVPs" as well.

Oh, and the throwing knife is SICK. I don't even bother with the shotguns anymore, I just hold R2 when walking down a hall/building and throw a knife and it's quicker on the draw.

I played the MAG beta at a friends house last night and I was quite impressed. I love the slower feel to it as compared to Call of Duty. One thing the game requires is a good squad who communicates. Seemed like I was the only one with a headset in the game yesterday.

If anyone else downloads this (I think the beta is open for another week) we should hop on some time.
