I started at 8 EST and finished the story in 3 hours.

This was after struggling with the controls a bit and restarting a few times when I got stuck in the level.

Nothing major or game-breaking but know that going in if you choose to play it.

Also, if I were the company who made this (Young Horses), I'd put out a timed demo of the Super Market level for people to check out.

Shit's AMAZING.

I can only imagine how cool/frustrating/fun it would be to try and control eight tentacles while grabbing produce, ordering lunch meat, etc. It sounds funny as hell.

Just exploring what you could do versus what you feel is expected of you in the game is AMAZING.

 

Every time I found a pair of glasses or a funny hat, I HAD to try to see if I could put it on.

There's nothing like a scrambling octopus in X-Ray Specs and an Angler Fish hat that glows... :lol:

Really diggin' Injustice on PS4 so far. Having 30 playable characters is pretty awesome. I like J'onn and Green Arrow the most. Played some matches with the room mates and there were a lot of epic moments already. :yep:

I finally played through all of Broken Age Act 1. Very, very good adventure game. Great dialogue, tons of personality, and amazing art. The puzzles weren't super difficult, but honestly, the puzzles were generally what I disliked the most about old puzzle games.

I thought that the story was wonderful, and the ending was fantastic and has me very excited for Act 2.

Yeah, I thought about that, but I feel like the ending is a little more impactful with a wait. Admittedly, I should have probably held off until at least a release date was announced.

WTF is up with the release date stuff? I forgot about Broken Age until yesterday when it was one of the midweek deals on Steam, and IIRC, they were shooting for April to get the last act finished. The only things I've been able to find so far are a few posts on the DoubleFine forums implying that the puzzle design is being redone because a lot of people thought they were too easy in the first act.

Yeah, alas, all I've seen is the 15,000 articles about how they financed Act 2 with the sales of Act 1. Everything basically just says "this year". Whatever that means.

I hadn't heard the puzzle redesign thing, but I swear if they're nonsensical "old school" adventure game puzzles, I'm going to be super bummed.

Pay special attention to #10. I don't like to slam Madden and EA as much as some people do. I completely forgot about the sideline 'promises' they made for Madden 25. None of that shit is in the game. I'm popping in 2K8 today.
