Atlus confirmed it will extend its online server operations for Demon's Souls through October 2011 in North America, two years after its initial release. The company previously announced it would keep the servers online at least through March 2011.
"We will support the online servers for Demon's Souls as long as we possibly can, and we'll be as transparent about the entire process as possible, hence us constantly updating folks as to what to expect," Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales at Atlus said in a statement.
Atlus also announced it's shifting Demon's Souls' World Tendency to Pure White starting on Dec. 20, 2010 through early next year.
A spiritual successor to Demon's Souls called Project Dark was announced at this past Tokyo Game Show. The game is being published by Namco Bandai for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this time, however.
No word yet if Project Dark is coming to North America.
