I was enjoying both Dragon's Dogma and Jak and Daxter HD, and then a cat bit me in the right thumb at work. It then got mildly infected, and all the while the pain is fairly intense in general, but REALLY intense when you have to mash down on the X button a billion times for a game like Jak. I think that this is the first injury in the my life that has actually kept me from playing vidja games.

Picked up Transformers: Fall of Cybertron today. Excited to bust through that this weekend along with getting into The Witcher 2.

I gotta say, despite being a weird game (even by Capcom standards), with an even weirder story, Dragon's Dogma is pretty fucking awesome. There is a bit too much forced traversal of the world for my taste, but as I play it I sometimes think I prefer that to fast travel.

Also, double band-aid on the cat bite thumb FTW!

I can see how breaking arms and legs, jumping from one car to another WHILE MOVING, shooting people in the face and an intriguing story can get old.
