Are these the retail games or the DLC? If it's retail I'll totally buy.

The Rockstar bundle? All of the games are the retail versions except for GTA4.

And we still need to play Too Human co-op, I was getting my closet and TV stand cleared out for new carpet to be put down, and ran across my copy and remembered we need to do that.

I'm definitely down for some Too Human still. I'm in the middle of a move right now, and I would also like to try and re-acclimate myself somewhat to the games weirdo controls, but after that, I'm game.

As far as XCOM, basically my sell would be 3 fold:

1) Did you play and like the original XCOM, and if so, would you like a more streamlined, better made game?
2) Do you like turn based strategy?
3) Do you like SimCity-ish stuff?

Basically, it is an updated version of the old game, which is A LOT better. As a fan of the old game, I went back to it recently and found it almost unplayable in the amount (or rather lack thereof) of information they give you. I had trouble deciphering how to get out of the initial SCREEN. This is a lot more user friendly (but definitely still challenging). The SimCity part is really SimCity light, but still cool, as your base is underground and you have to choose where to excavate and consequently where to build new parts of the base (Psi labs to learn psionic abilities, foundry's for upgrades, workshops and labs for more engineers and scientists, hold cells for alien interrogations, etc...)

It's just a lot of fun if you're into any of the tactic style games (FF, Tactics Ogre, etc...although this isn't on a grid per se). The brutal difficulty only serves to help the dire plot in which humanity is surprised and outgunned. It works well I think.

I'd give it a shot if you're a turn based fan at all. If you aren't, or if you are bothered by dice rolls (every attack has a % in this so Twigg, avoid), then I'd definitely stay away.

Don't worry about it, I've still got to re-familiarize myself with it too, and we need to decide on a difficulty as well. I'm going on a mini-vacation this week as well, through Thursday.

Looks like I'll give it a try. I like games where you have to build a base like that, and I'm interested to see how difficult it truly is.

Looks like I'll be upgrading my PS3 hard drive this week. I have about enough space for 1 more game worth of saves before it's full. Probably upgrade to 320gb.

Well, I got drunk last night and bought a SNES/NES combo machine on Amazon and won two auctions for a total of 20 SNES games on Ebay. Don't drink and buy.

I'm okay with it for the most part, because one of them was a 10 game set for 40 bucks that had good to very good versions of Super Mario World, All-Stars, Kart (still my favorite Kart game), Killer Instinct, and the GOAT: A Link to the Past. Granted the rest is shit but whatever.

I can't praise that game enough. I want a true sequel to that game. Same top down perspective with improved graphics. That would make me buy a wii u or 3DS.

Me too, but we're talking about modern Nintendo. There is no way another 2D Zelda gets made. Sad.

PS3 hard drive reformatting is a go. Hello new 500gb hard drive. It's going to be nice to be able to download whatever the fuck I want and not have to just purchase and not install games from the store.

EDIT: Of fucking course the PSN maintenance is today and I can't sign in to PSN. Fml.

Been playing XCOM on PC. That is one awesome game. Highly recommended to basically anyone, I'm not a really a turn based type of gamer, but it almost doesn't even feel like a turn based game. Just crazy good.
