Microsoft's New Black Tusk Studio Is Working On The Xbox's Next Big Franchise

Microsoft's Studios Vancouver branch has been renamed Black Tusk Studio, and it is working on something big.

In an interview with The Vancouver Sun, Black Tusk's studio manager Mike Crump said, "We're not working on an existing franchise; we're looking to build the next Halo here in Vancouver, for example, which is really exciting. We are building something from the ground up."

Black Tusk Studios is planning on doubling its employees over the course of the next year. Whatever Black Tusk is working on, it must be huge.

Activision didn't lose any money by a black friday sale. They took their per game cut regardless of what retail companies were selling it for.

You sure? I thought in most cases of significant sales (except for clearances) it's the publisher that authorizes the sale by the retailer and they take less profit?
 
Getting Wonderbook: Book of Spells PlayStation Move Bundle for the Mrs. but wanted to know if I should get the Navigation controller as well? I know not many here have the Move Controller but does anyone know if many games use the Navigation controller or get a 2nd Navigation controller. I want to say I remember videos people using the Move controller along with the DualShock.

Haven't played any of the newer Pokemon games (Other than Heart Gold, which is my only other DS game, but that's a rehash of Gold so it doesn't count) I'm really liking it thus far. My team so far is Growlithe, Elekid, Riolu, and whatever the 2nd form of the water starter is. Each with their own stoner-themed nickname of course.

Never played any of the other Far Cry games at all, but am really digging this game thus far. customizable weapons are dope.
 
Broke down and got a 3DS today with the Mario 3D Land pre-install. Enjoying it so far, but honestly looking more forward to Pushmo and Crashmo.

Regular. The XL doesn't impress me for the price after seeing a friend's. I didn't do Target because I had a Best Buy GC and it's basically the same price there if you get the Mario 3D Land pre-install (169.99 vs. 129.99+39.99 for cart)...I admittedly didn't do any research if I can delete and re-download/re-install, and since it's Nintendo I'm a little concerned about that, but oh well.

It looks very nice though, but I can only handle the 3D stuff in short bursts (knew that going in though).

She liked Wonderbook when she saw it demo'd at E3; think the hook was the Harry Potter angle. Prof. Layton was $30....couldn't find it anywhere on sale that still had it in stock (FRYS.com had it for $10 but OOS). I saw an opportunity to get a move controller and see if it added anything to videogames.
