I decided to play Far Cry 2 since I downloaded it on PSN way back when and never really got around to playing it. I can tell now that the malaria attacks are going to get on my nerves considering that I've been in a fire fight each time my character has needed to pop a pill so far.

The malaria and the deteriorating guns were a pain in the ass but somehow I still poured over 30 hours into that game. I think it's still one of my favorite games this gen and I look forward to playing it on PS3 since I got it from PS+ as well.

I got Reefers so I don't need another fire type. Arcanine has always been my favorite.

Well I've gone on another buying spree for games. In the past week I've bought Bioshock, Metro 2033 and the Tomb Raider Trilogy (and also received the Sly Collection from JHen for SS). Browsing Amazon and Ebay for a good deal on the Splinter Cell Trilogy as well. :facepalm:

Must...resist...the urge...

Let me know how those games are, my only Sly memories are of the Thievius Raccoonus and even those are quite vague.

It's always a good sign that you got someone a good gift when you pretended you were buying it for yourself... :kobe:

Yeah, we had this discussion the other night. I like the height of the 360 sticks. Making them taller would be dumb. The PS3 sticks are a smidge too tall, plus they are convex. Putting those grips on makes them a ton better. I wouldn't want to add more height to them.

Not in my opinion. I could care less about the other stuff. I'm sure it does do some of that, but I just hate the way the longer joysticks feel.

I just ordered Metro 2033 off Ebay a couple days ago.
