William Moore ftw. Chris Owens looks like he could be good too, good instincts. I like the draft so far, got at least 2 potential day 1 starters in Jerry and Moore thus far.

I'm a big fan of Sidbury, I was hoping he'd fall to AZ at 131 but sadly not...

Last two picks should have been Victor Harris and Casey from Rice. Instead it was some small school CB who will probably only play on special teams. And then a trade with the Cowboys...

Still disappointed the Falcons took William Middleton over Harris...I may never get over it.

I think their draft sucked balls. In the 1st round the Falcons missed out on Clay Matthews, and the rest of it is looking like trash. I am really upset with Mike Smith.

Clay Matthews is an overrated prospect. Peria Jerry had much more value at 24. Some thought he'd be gone by 20. Jerry, Moore and Sidbury will someday be starting for us. That's about all you can ask out of a draft.

I loved the draft so far.

How do you know Middleton isn't better than Macho? Not like Macho is an athletic specimen, reminds me of a smaller Jimmy Williams. Dude is more like a safety but built like a corner.

This Middleton guy could turn out to be a better than Macho, you just can't say. Who cares anyway, it's a 5th rounder. We got solid value out of all of our picks so far (Sid in the 4th WTF!) so I'm not too worried about us taking a corner we like in round 5. I was never crazy about Macho to begin with however.

Loved seeing us grab a solid tackle prospect though.

Jerry and Moore will both start day 1, Chris Owens seems like he could be a legit player for us and Sidbury should get a lot of playing time as well.

But Middleton and Adkins are two picks that seem questionable to me, there was a lot better talent on the board. Dimmitroff likes to draft for special teams in the late rounds and I dont expect our last pick to be anything but a special teams player as well.

Moore was my favorite pick of our draft for a couple reasons, mainly because he can come into the box and be effective against the run and he has the athletic ability to do well in pass coverage and snag some tough interceptions. Not to mention he can become a good leader for the defense.

The fact that we didnt draft any replacements for Boley or Brooking made Moore an even better pick at SS, imo. So it seems like our linebackers this year will be Peterson, Lofton, and Nicholas...

The Falcon's D Line will be a lot better then it was last year. Mike Smith likes to sub in different players in different situations so the group thats on the field is changing a lot, helps keep John Abraham fresh. I really like the depth that Jerry and Sidbury add.
