miami is totally out of line. Miami seems like they are trying to get Sparano to resign so they dont have to fire him and pay that money. They are publicly embarrassing him now and he isnt a bad coach at all. I think he did a good job with miami despite being in a tough division and not having a quality QB.

people will say he chose henne as his guy...but what else is he gonna say? he has to appear to have confidence in the guy because who else is he gonna play?

harbaugh probably shouldnt be talking to miami since they do have a coach. but thats only is your moral compass tells you its wrong. and his obviously doesnt. its his right tp interview or discuss jobs that may be an option for him. But the NFL fraternity of coaches wont take to kindly to it

Ehh, I think it's implied that wherever Harbaugh goes, Vic Fangio will go with as defensive coordinator. He's done wonders for that defense this year, and has lots of NFL experience.

Ross and Ireland flew out this AM on the private jet to lure in Harbaugh. If it comes to money, the 49ers will lose...hence why I think you have been hearing they are moving on to Josh McDaniels.

Joey Porter's insane year, David Lee's Wildcat, and Chad Pennington being available because of Brett Favre/NY Jets idiocy, is what allowed Sparano to go 11-5 year 1....when none of them were around year 2 at the same pace and Sparano continued to mismanage games his second season, you saw what he really was....out of his league.

But it is intriguing that he hasn't reached a deal with Miami yet (or that they haven't fired Sparano yet). You'd think with all that money being thrown at him, he would have agreed by now.

Obviously, nobody knows, but I think Harbaugh has already proved himself. Jus know the history of Harbaugh and watching the 49ers every week tells me that they are going to be good for a long time.

Fundamentally, they are excellent. The playcalling is excellent. Defensively, they are stout. His coordinators are all very good and the team plays disciplined and executes extremely well.

Alex Smith is still the same Alex Smith. He's not a great QB, but Harbaugh has him playing excellent. As long as they have that D and running game the 49ers will compete for the NFC West every year.
