To everyone talking shit about Robinson, none of you have seen him this year in Spring Ball. He actually knows the offense now. You can't say anything about the Iowa game because he was thrown into a game with all the pressure on the line and he hardly knew the offense.

Bullshit. He knew the offense. He just couldn't read defenses and has a terrible arm. On that Iowa play he had a receiver cutting right underneath the linebacker that dropped, and yet he tried to force the ball into a small area further downfield between that linebacker and a dropping DB and he overthrew his WR by 10 yards.

None of that has changed, the only thing that has was the fact that he now got to exploit the 2nd and 3rd string versions of the worst defense in Michigan football history while wearing the red non-contact jersey.

It's pathetic that everyone and their grandmother knows that whenever Denard came in last season, defenses went "The black guys in, 99% chance it's a run.". He had his couple highlight plays to start the year when teams weren't exactly ready for him, but I agree the man shouldn't be playing QB. Try him at WR or something.

His highlight plays came against Eastern Michigan....whooptie dooo! And yes the offense was very predictable when he was in, once again another reason why RRod should die in a fire.

Im fairly certain at the beginning of the season you get a playbook to read. Im also sure that he was used in practice. Soooo, yea he should know the playbook.

What Buck also failed to mention is that Denard led the team on a scoring drive the drive before the interception, so he knew the playbook enough to do that....yet on a simple pass play he cant differentiate between Michigan White and Iowa Black...makes sense.

The learning curve for every QB is different. If you honestly think a kid fresh out of highschool will know the entire playbook within his freshman year your mistaken.

You are missing the point, the QB in front of him was also a true freshman QB straight out of high school. And at least he could throw to the right guys from time to time.

Tate enrolled early if i'm not mistaken, which means he got to do spring practice with the team. He was wayyy ahead of Denard in that respect, if you don't realize that then I don't know what to say to you.

Alright, so Tate had a jump on the playbook thats why he was starting. Dont you think though that if you are going to be seeing game action, you should probably know at least half the playbook?

Yes Tate was further along then Denard, which makes the decision to bring Denard into the Iowa game even dumber. You bench your starting QB that has at least shown the ability to lead his team back, for a QB that apparently according to Buck does not know the playbook?
