I was pleased as punch with how this show seems to be "back". Pam going on about how she "used to be" was awesome as a meta-joke.

I thought it was a pretty funny episode, as usual Kevin was the funniest character. Also, remember Andy said something like "I was the second option" or something like that so I guess Bobby California didn't really want him as manager.

But he also said he was the 1st options 1st option. So he wasn't Sabre's first choice, Bobby was. But he was Bobby's first choice.

Andy's "I was the first choice's first choice" was great. Michael said something similar in that episode where he talked about making the guy laugh that made everyone else laugh.

I was refusing to watch, after Michael left. But I caved last week, knowing season 8 was coming, and finished out season 7. It wasn't too bad, but it's just not the same. Even if the show had fallen off a bit, Michael has always been Michael.

Thought the first episode was really good, had me loling consistently. Pam was great, Rob California fucking with their minds was great (loved the conversation bit), Kevin was great (per usual). And I'm willing to give Andy a chance as boss just because no one is going to be as good as Michael.

Plenty of funny parts in this season thus far but there are a lot of awkward parts right now with Andy and Erin. And not awkward funny....
