I really don't see Seattle being too far off, the defense is for the most part young so it's just going to take time to develop. The damn safety play is what's killing us. So many missed tackles/blown coverages.

Offense is what's going to be difficult moving forward. Hass is nothing like he used to be and neither Julius Jones or Justin Forsett can be a feature back. The offensive line is also a huge question mark.

Jacksonville heads into Seattle as the early season Cinderella. Already 4-0 and atop the AFC South, they're looking to make it a 5-0 record against the struggling 1-3 Seahawks.

Jacksonville Players to Watch
This offense runs through Maurice Jones-Drew. I don't care what numnuts Jack Del Rio tries to do with David Garrard, this offense needs to run through MJD. The Seahawks have had tough go of it stopping running backs lately, as Matt Forte and Donald Brown have both broke out big runs. Also watch for Mike Sims-Walker. Marcus Trufant has had a rough go of it so far, MSW could potentially get behind the secondary for a big score.

Seattle Seahawks Players to Watch
Both Jordan Babineaux and Deon Grant are players to watch for, as they have taken a lot of heat and criticism the past few weeks. Both have been caught sucked up into the box and have missed multiple crucial tackles. If they don't improve their play, they could lose the starting job quickly. John Carlson has been quietly having a great year out of the Tight End position, look for him to possibly get in the endzone.

Another Close Loss Goes Against Seattle

Seattle It didn't take long for the Seahawks to put themselves in hole. Just 36 seconds into the game, Matt Hasselbeck was intercepted by Daryl Smith and taken back to house making it a quick 7-0. Jacksonville was up 14-3 heading into halftime, and it looked like Seattle was ready to lay down and go about their business tomorrow. Matt Hasselbeck had other thoughts, as he took over the 3rd quarter orchestrating 10 points to pull within one. The lone touchdown in the quarter was a 6 yard TD pass to Nate Burleson.

The fourth quarter saw an exciting finish capped off by a ton of scoring, every fans dream right. Torry Holt and T.J Houshmanzadeh traded TD receptions. Josh Scobee bailed two field goals while Olindo Mare could only hit one. The deficit could not be overcome by the Seahawks, who actually had an encouraging game. No big plays were allowed and they seemed to have a little fight in them. A 1-4 record isn't pretty, but there is good to be pulled from this.

Although this chise is relatively new, just caught up on it. I'm definitely following this. Seahawks are a very challenging team to play with and it'll be interesting to see how you revamp the offense. I think that you should just cut Hasselbeck loose after the season and look for your franchise quarterback in either the draft (Bradford, Clausen, etc.) or free agency (Campbell).

This team loves the big play, which means that Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and Steve Breaston will all have a field day toying with the struggling Seahawk secondary. This means big numbers for Kurt Warner, who will look to put the ball in the air early and often en route to a victory.

Jordan Babineaux has a pick in three straight games. Will it be enough to make up for the 2 big plays he allows each game? Matt Hasselbeck has looked steady so far, knock on wood but he may be proving that he has another year left in the tank to save Seattle from a QB class that is not very high profiled.

Seattle In what was easily the most exciting game of the NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks yet again came up one play short. Early on, it was Kurt Warner reminiscing of his days as the greatest show on turf. Pass after pass was complete, passing all over this Seattle secondary. It was 28-14 heading into halftime, the Seahawks were only able to force one punt the entire half. That one punt however, was right before the half and turned out to be a game changing moment. Nate Burleson made three people miss taking the kick the distance, electrifying the crowd.

The third quarter saw only one score, and that was a one yard skip in by Julius Jones who scored three times on the day. However, Arizona scored almost instantaneously as the 4th quarter started putting Seattle in a 14 point hole. After a fiery speech from QB and offensive captain Matt Hasselbeck, he orchestrated a 14 play drive to score. The 13th play was the most important. After three failed run's from the one, Hasselbeck took a designed rollout to the right. Misfiring, most thought that was the end for the Seahawks, but that pesky yellow penalty flag did it's own version of Obama's bailout plan. Pass Interference on the defense, #54 resonated throughout the stadium much to the enjoyment of the Seahawks faithful.

Now 35-28, Seattle needed one defensive stop. Lofa Tatupu delivered, knocking away a crossing pattern with 3:47 left to go in the game. An array of passes brought Seattle down to the 1 again, where we saw Julius Jones take in his third touchdown of the game. Punching it in with 24 seconds to go, many thought this game was going to overtime, everyone except for Kurt Warner. After a run play which netted 13 off the edge, Warner called timeout. In a three deep defense, Jordan Babineaux failed to see the one man streaking up the middle of the field in Steve Breaston. Breaston caught the pass and was able to fall out of a gang tackle with :01 second to go on the clock. Neil Rackers was perfect, and Arizona quickly ran off the field guilty of robbery.

tough loss, but you know who your runner is after this game. A three td game out of Jones equals wow.

I think it was Jones job to lose in the first place, but the inneffectiveness from Forsett as a runner helped that along. I like Forsett on third downs though, i could see him being Kevin Faulk v2.

Eh, it was expected. I wasn't planning on running the tables and making the playoffs. The only problem is i'm not sure if I want Clausen as a franchise QB or not, and this draft is loaded at positions I don't really need. Dline is not a problem on this team. Might have to find a replacement in line for Patrick Kerney, i really do not know.

As the week 7 bye falls upon us, our record is a putrid 1-5. What is deceiving about this is that we have been in almost every game we've played, an barring a few mishaps on defense we would be right there. The bye week is possibly the most important week an NFL front office can have. It gives us a chance to go deeper into the scouting world as well as look at player personnel and begin to craft the future.

We have decided to extend the contract of backup center Steve Vallos, it was a three year deal. This opens up the possibility that Chris Spencer may not be back with the team come next season if the two sides cannot reach an agreement.

Onwards we go in this bye week, and we will now take a look at the scouting front and what there is to offer us in the draft. It looks as if Jimmy Clausen will be the only potential franchise QB to come out of this draft, and the throwing accuracy he has display is not promising, especially for a west coast offense. It looks more and more like we will not be able to go QB in this draft, but HB is also a weaker point in this draft. This may be a depth draft for us, building at positions which are set to run out in the near future. We will continue to scout and monitor many of the top players.

Seattle jets off to the Jerry Dome to take on the Dallas Cowboys. Seattle, 1-5, will be looking to play spoiler as the Cowboys are already in a must win phase against a weaker team.

Dallas Players to Watch
It all comes down to Tony Romo. The Cowboys roll as Romo rolls and they need him to keep the bad decision making to a minimal if they want to make it to the promise land that is the playoffs. Whether it is Roy Williams, who loves to complain about not getting the ball then "drop the ball" when opportunities arise, or Miles Austin, someone needs to step up against a shaky secondary. Demarcus Ware against Walter Jones will be a prime match up.

Seattle Seahawks Players to Watch
Watch Lawyer Milloy today. The veteran of 13 seasons has been placed into the starting secondary at strong safety while Deon Grant will move over to free safety, replacing Jordan Babineaux. Hopefully this is a wake up call for Babineaux, who is still young and under contract for three more seasons. This is also a matchup for Julius Jones against his old team, the Cowboys. Jones is finding the endzone with ease this year, but is not putting up gawdy statistical numbers.
