The Minister of Defense
Well HELL YEAH!!
FINALLY got the game.. and after an hour or so of dick'n around experimenting with different setups and schemes I pretty much decided to go vanilla for now.. Very basic stuff.. First off I ran All-Pro and not All-Madden just to get a good feel for the game, and not to mention all the VSN chit chat about how much more realistic AP mode is (which for now i'm gonna have to agree with, but only because I haven't run AM yet, not even close to ready for those CPU beatings quite yet.. LoL) .. so I also decided to run 9 min. qtrs. off of advice for once again "realism".. BUT, 9 seemed a tad too long IMO, and that's just it, it's just my opinion.. but here, here's the stats from the random game I just got done with..
Now while the stats look great in favor of the Saints and not so great for the Lions it just seemed like it took a long time.. I had that accelerated clock turned off, not gonna even fool around with it (btw, thanks COACH), but it just seemed a little longer regardless.. Gameplay was nice, I finally felt like I could begin to run the ball and not have to depend on Drew Brees to get my ass out of a hole constantly, and that was with using all 3 of my backs, Pierre Thomas, Reggie Bush, & Mike Bell.. I still got work to do with "D", but no worries there, it's just about tweaking a few hush-hush details here and there and all will be more than well.. so I think i'm gonna go back to experimenting with the clock with either 7's or 8's.. 7's are what I ran with 09, but from what I hear 7's might go by too quickly so it may end up being crazy 8's.. I'll have to see how the stats go.. but so far so good.. and yes, get'n rid of the rock quickly is highly recomended, or your QB is gonna be on the IR!!.. not that I know anything about this.. *smile*
So needless to say, i'm very pleased with this years product and can't wait to get with you guys and start run'n games.. it's gonna be a good year..
