& once again (with the exception of that sweet ass long run by #25) the
Saints just couldn't catch a break.. I swear, I wonder sometimes about the
penalties that are called against my boys ::shakes head in disbelief::
.. but no cryin' here.. huuuuuge balls call to go for it in the RZ at the 4 up
by 3, 24-21 in the 3rd.. I take it you didn't like that I came back on ya..
LoL.. I had a feeling you were gonna go for it, but my D was harrrrd for 3
downs, just couldn't stop ya when it counted, on 4th!!.. Anyways, that began
the downward spiral, cuz then instead of down by 3 I was down by 10, not
the 6 I was hopin' on.. damn you Mobb!!!!.. Good ballgame though.. sorry I
didn't stick around and swap spit with ya.. LoL.. you had to know I was
absolutely ill with how that 4th quarter, and ultimately, how the game
ended.. Anyways, you know me, i'll rebound and come back and kick your
F'n ass inside out next time!! *smile* .. thanks again for the game...... mf'er!

GG NW. Yeah, that 4th down call was pretty much something I needed to do for myself. I felt the game slipping away after you cut it 24-21 in the 3rd. I wasn't about to drive all the way down the field and settle for 3, keeping it a one possession game. I felt I was in a good spot. Even if I didn't get the TD, I would have had you pinned inside the 5 yard line. Lucky for me, I was able to get the TD. I felt that play turned the game back in my favor.

Also, I'm not sure what was worse: The penalties being called on you or all the game ending injuries I was suffering. My guys were dropping like flies that game.

Great game though...looking forward to the next one!

GG, NW! Wow, I now see what everybody has been talking about RE: lag!
That first half was lag-atrocious for me, lol.

2nd half not as bad.

A new play book......1st page of call sheet...ugh...second sheet...not good enough! Gotta take another look!

But I swear, no way you can get to Brees....he completes passes falling on his ass, lol! But, hey, that's why he gets paid the big bucks!

Enjoyed the game....classy NW as always!

Let's see here.. I know ya wanted to try a new pb, but I think ya did better
the last time we rolled.. not sure.. i'd have to go back and check the stats..
BUT, on a bright note, whatever mistakes you made in the first half you
definetly improved in in the 2nd half.. much better!.. but I still think you
played better with your prev. pb, perhaps it was just a level of comfort, or
maybe (like you said) you were just experimenting.. well regardless, still a
good game.. like you, I experimented as well, in the 2nd half, using diff.
sets to see what plays could bait you and which ones you'd pickup on.. it
was about a 50/50 split.. LoL.. I still gotta lot of work to do to keep up with
the VSN heavys', those guys don't F' around.. So thanks for the game PTR,
and just keep tweakin' a couple things here and a couple things there & I
think you'll do just fine.. & again, much respect.. check ya soon.

Yeah, stats are not a biggie for me right now, just the scheme of the plays at this point.

I used the Denver PB the first game.....not bad...but a lot more complex...got to put the plays together for it to work. Not sure that is me, lol.

I liked the plays in the PB today...[second half]..driving the field for the TD.....simple but effective.

I will try and add some additional plays and see what happens....maybe this weekend?

Hopefully the lag will take a break, lol.

I tell ya, that was a GREAT ballgame.. too bad one of us had to lose..
seemed like "D" was the motto of the game, cuz if you look at total yards
you'll see that I just hammered the offensive stats, but 3 INT's for me and
4 for you does NOT win ballgames.. so it came down to Nedney eh ?? Soon
enough ZEUS, soon enough!.. I may be going through Madden growing pains,
but ya gotta admit that that was a LOT better outing by the Black-n-Gold
than the last time.. Anyways, back to SF the next time!.. way to bring your
A-game, wouldn't want it any other way.. but you know I still shoulda' won..

Bruddah' "H"!!

HELLUVA' comeback in the 4th.. I tip my Saints hat to ya for drawin' a bead
of sweat from my brow, BUT, I think I finally figured a few things out,
namely "BALANCE".. 26 Passes & 25 rushes.. I think my problem in the past
has been that I was wayyyy too predictable & all my oppts. had to do was
go up on me early forcing me to throw the ball even more than I already do,
hence nickels and dimes= shutting down NW.. well, NO MORE OF THAT!!
Even though Pierre & Reggie had a hard time get'n going, seemed like when
they needed to they came up big, same could be said for Devery Henderson
and Robert Meachem, those 2, lawwwd!.. I know you can't wait to bring
them Skins back to "THE Bayou" with a lotta redemtion on your mind.. but
still, lazy D by me in the 4th and stellar play by you deciphering my zones
vs. man D's to get the ball down field and draw the sweat.. I kept thinking,
"of all the people to do it, it would be him" LoL .. thank gawd I didn't have
my usual 4th quarter seizure and blow it.. Good Game Bruddah' "H".. til' we

2 times in 2 days.. we haven't played like this since wayyyy back..
& again, GREAT BATTLE!.. coming down to the leg of Hartley with less than
10 seconds to go (you have no idea how long I held my breath thinking "if
it comes down to it", major reason I called the t/o and didn't just let the
clock run down to 1 and then call the timeout.. tied at 20 with Jacobs having
his way, no thanks!), then boom :09 on the clock to take the lead 23-20..
& FINALLY making a f/g!.. I hate that meter.. LoL.. So again Iz, GG bra',
we'll rematch it soon.. thanks for the game.. oh, and yeah, that underneath
drag is a mf'er to defend, especially when you have so many guys that can
catch the rock, even if it is figured out.
