OK, you have successfully trolled me into this garbage thread.

-Werdum is no different than Muuur, he caught a lucky sub vs. a far surperior fighter after getting knocked on his ass. He doesnt even remember getting hit, and Fedor didnt even hit him solid. He would lose to Fedor 9 out of 10 times, and that will be proven when they rematch on CBS, just like when Brock smashed in Muuuur's face at 100.

To say he would be the top ranked guy is laughable, he was a mediocre 2-2 in the UFC, where according to you, it's nothing but a bunch of overhyped products of "the machine".

I know you like to do your gimmick, but statements like that will kill your credibility because people will take you seriously. and start to think you are mildly retarded. Just stop.

-The UFC has, by far, the best heavyweight division on the planet. No, they don't have every sigle top heavy (no division in any group can collect everyone), but they have 90% of them. Fedor, Barnett, maybe Bigfoot, maybe Overeem (until he fights somebody with a pulse, he gets a maybe, and thats it, in terms of guys who could be players in UFC that arent already there. Werdum would be right back to .500 with that comp, as he's already shown.


-Saying the UFC champ "took a beating and ran from being punched" is the type of garbage I expect to see on sherdog from the geeks. If Brock had stood in the middle and traded, and got KO'd, you'd be ripping him for losing. It's times like this that you take your gimmick too far. He weathered the storm, answered the questions about his chin, kept his composure, and won via a pretty nice sub. If he was a Strikeforce fighter, you'd be swinging from his nuts and screaming "Get on the pain train!!"....just like you do when Overeem opens up cans like the tire guy and fat over the hill sumo's.

Brock is the #1 heavyweight on the planet, and the only other fighter you can make a case for without being laughed out of the room is Fedor. Cain Velasquez is a poor man's Carwin, with better cardio. If Carwin couldnt knock out Brock, no fucking chane Cain can. And Brock will wipe the mat with him wrestling.

And then it will be on to the next hope...JDS, Big Roy, and probably even Overeem, who you heard it here first, will be fighting in the UFC by the end of 2011.

Werdum should be the number 1 ranked fighter, we were talking rankings, Werdum was a top 10 HW before the Fedor fight, 8-10 range and just beat the number 1 ranked HW for the last 7 years, he finished him, doesnt mean Fedor wouldnt beat him, or who would be favored, this is rankings, show me another HW with the wins like Werdum

Werdum went 2-2 in the UFC, he lost a decision to AA who did no damage, just like BJ who lost to Frankie and is still ranked number 2, he than wins 2 fights, they redo his contract, he gets KO'd by Dos Santos, you can say the samething about that like the Fedor loss, he just got caught, but I won't say that, so than they want to cut his pay, he leaves and goes to SF

Brock is not a better wrestler than Cain, when Carwin was fresh he did nothing, he couldnt even get Randy down in the 2nd round, he hasnt been a competitive wrestler in like 10 years, Cain is the best wrestler in the UFC HW division, Daniel Cormier is the best in the HW division

Brock's wrestling is overrated at this point, he is a great athlete, probably the best in the division, but at this point he is Tito Ortiz, very similar actually, Carwin would have been his Chuck if he didnt have a heart attack after 5 minutes, Brock showed heart, but if you look at his fights you see he is not seasoned, thats why that fight looked like it did, 2 guys with a combined 17 fights
