veach was a late replacement for kurt pellegrino. pellegrino isnt exactly the cream of the crop of the lw division but is coming off a three fight win streak
 
I'll be rooting hard for KIMBO, but let's face it, he's getting KTFO in less than one minute. He stinks, but i'd love to see him pull off an upset.

Marcus Jones is a superstar in the making if he wins in impressive fashion. Very charismatic, great story, genuine guy, etc. Very easy to root for.

I dont think anyone thought Roy Nelson wouldnt make the final. He's so much better than the scrubs that they dug up for the house. Wouldnt shock me if he lost tonight, but I would be surprised.

Fuck Matt Hamill. Bones Jones is another potential star in the making. People love flashy fighters. Gotta love the crazy Japan-esque prowres moves he pulls off.

Actually, I do. People like KIMBO and really want to see him win. But it would be one of the biggest upsets of the year if he survives, much less wins.
 
I love that Jones has ground skills, only thing about him that scares me is when he got hit in the face he got dropped and did the Bob Sapp face

I dont think he likes to get hit

MMA, Boxing, Kickboxing are so much different than Football and the other 'contact' sports, you have to able to get hit and come back, its so mental, the toughness you need for combat sports is at such a high level, thats why guys who are not great athletes can still do really well, you can just tough your way through a fight sometimes

I'm with rob when it comes to KIMBO. When has he ever shown this supposed big time power everyone talks about? The answer is never. Cantrell took a dive and Tank is Tank.

I'm pulling for the guy, but I can't pick him to beat a real opponent until he actually proves he can do it.
 
Good first round. Big Baby was able to get three take downs, but Mitrione nearly ended the fight had he not missed a right hook by an inch.
 
DAMN. I guess Big Baby won't be in the UFC too long.

It must suck to have a glass chin in MMA. Now Mitrione will have some confidence.
