Same could be said about Brees, Warner, and Favre. Take either guy off their current teams, and neither team makes it to the playoffs. Minnesota could possibly end up at .500, but neither Arizona or NO would win 6 games.

If this scenario happened it'd come down to Brees/Favre/Manning. They aren't gonna give it to a guy like Rivers or Brady who'd have the same numbers (at best) with a worse record. No way Vince Young wins it, CJ would have an outside shot if he broke a record.

I think they'd give the award to Favre media loves sucking him off and they'd give him the MVP.

No, Collins took the team out of contention because of shitty playcalling. They do not win games when he throws as many times as his age.

Look at Johnson's carries throughout those first six games. Only once, he carried the ball over 20 times and that was against the Jets with Kris Jenkins. And you know what happened in the fourth quarter? CJ hardly got the ball and Collins put up an outstanding 0-13 in the final stanza.

Now look at the last four wins, how many carries does CJ have? 24, 25, 26, 29. Even if he doesn't break one early, you keep going to him cause eventually he's going to.

CJ was shut down VS Pitt and Tenn had a chnace cause Collins was on fire that game.

I agree it seemed like they went away from CJ for a stretch of games there and because of this I cant see him winning the MVP. A MVP should be the best player from the start not someone who got hot 6 games in.

Drew Brees isnt even the MVP of his own team. They've won several games thanks to non offensive TD's saving their ass.

GTFO with Cedric Benson even being discussed for MVP. He's the perfect example of a "plug and play" RB--he gets hurt, and the immortal BERNARD SCOTT steps right in and has a monster game. The Bengals success running the ball has very little to do with Cedric Benson.
