Was really hoping that we'd see the Jags take a shot with Tebow. Can you imagine the fan support that Jacksonville would finally get bringing Tebow back to his old stomping grounds? Wish he'd get another shot as well, considering he won football games and got his Broncos to the Playoffs, and even won a game in the Playoffs. It's ridiculous how people won't give him a shot because his arm isn't top notch. He's a football player that just wins football games. Give the kid another shot, and I'm not even a big Tebow fan at all.

I'm not going to go deep into your list (I specifically disagree with Cassel) but I would even add Nick Foles. In the Washington game, Foles proved himself to me that he could be a solid QB in the league. He stuck in the pocket, played through an injury and made some solid decisions for the most part. I would also include him over Tebow. So essentially, the entire NFC East QB's I'd take over him. That's pretty damning to Tebow as a QB, where you could say you would rather have an entire division of QBs before one player.

I do feel bad for Tebow because I do think Warner has a point- the ESPN and other media circus that follows Tebow just isn't worth it, especially when you consider Tebow is likely your backup and a project to develop. It's not like you are adding a top 15-20 player at their position and expecting them to start, then dealing with the media circus is more reasonable.

Media and ESPN follow Tebow because it makes money. It makes money because a lot of people like him and legitimately believe things like there's only 20 QBs better than him in the league and/or that he should be starting.

Mike Francesca read a quote from an unnamed GM about Tebow - "he's not good enough to be a starter, but he's too much of a star to be a backup". Dude is right. Sexy Jesus is a superstar without having superstar stats. Weird.

W2B is right. Tebow is too much of a distraction. Teams don't want to deal with the circus.
