I didn't wait to find perfect sliders before starting. I just started right out of the box.
I agree I shouldn't have had as many wins as I did considering how many INT's Edwards threw.
Unfortunately, before finding good sliders, All-Madden by default = lots of interceptions, being able to stop their run easily. It also = you and the cpu both breaking for huge gains on pass plays but being able to pick them off very easily as well.
Once I started using the sliders dizzle posted, results became a lot more realistic.
If you read this chise up to the point where I was up to my 1st regular season game, I thought the results were rediculous myself. I even considered putting this on hold but I wanted to get going.
I put my MLB chise on hold for rosters and I wasn't in the mood to wait to get going in this one.
Since putting in the sliders, I've gone 3-2 (lost last 2 games of regular season to Colts/Falcons), Edwards has thrown a lot less interceptions but on that same token, thrown for a lot less yards as well. Trust me when I say that by default, this game is unrealistic as shit.
As far as Edwards being benched, he was benched for 3 games or so. If you go back, you will see he came into a game that my backup could get no offense going for me. He came in and led the team on a game winning drive (using these new sliders) which gave me faith that he would be capable reassuming the starting role.
So long story short, I agree the beginning of this season may have been unrealistic in some ways. I was just eager to get this rolling.
I wanted to get going and get as far as I could in this before NBA 2k10 drops. Not to mention, I also want to finish up my Tigers season sometime soon as well.
Trust me, I even considered stopping this and starting a new one because these sliders are so much better than the default, which I used up until about week 10. lol. But you of all people should know, I'm probably the last person who starts multiple chises. Once I get going, I'm usually in it for the long haul.
