I lost Marshawn Lynch and Lee Evans to injury. They aren't serious injuries but my offense went to shit once they left. Critical play in the 4th was when I scrambled to rush with Tarvaris Jackson. I get out to the 1st down and then dive, and magically the ball falls out of his hands without any contact. :irked:

I went for a pick on the last play for some stupid reason and they took it 60 something yards for the win. I let that one go. :smh:

Hopefully he can, Edwards isn't coming back till the divisional or conference round. The same with Clint Ingram. That last game was not a good sign for our offense. I mean, our defense sucked ass because Frank Gore is rediculous but still, I pride myself on being able to outscore the CPU. lawl.

The Bills went into the playoffs a season ago with a 2 game losing streak hanging over their heads after losing their last 2 games of the 2011 regular season.

They will hope to avoid that this time around and head into the postseason with some momentum when they face off with the Cardinals in the season finale.

It probably won't be easy though.

The Cardinals knocked their divisional rival Rams out of postseason contention last year in week 17 and would love to do the same this year with a win here. Big difference this year though, Kurt Warner is no longer an active player in the NFL.

If the Cardinals lose this game, their postseason hopes are done for.

Bills Heading Into The Playoffs Determined To Snap Postseason Losing Streak

The NFL's feel-good story for much of last season didn't feel very good heading into the playoffs last year.

Two sickening losses will do that.

After winning 11 straight games and sitting at 13-1 heading into week 16, the Bills lost their final two regular season games to close out the season at 13-3.

Instead of riding momentum, the Bills were just trying to get back on their feet.

Eventually, the Bills were eliminated in the playoffs for the 2nd straight year without a victory in the postseason by the Titans.

But this year is different.

Despite being without starting QB Trent Edwards and LOLB Clint Ingram, the Bills are coming off an impressive 38-30 win over the Cardinals and feel good heading into the postseason where they will meet the Texans in the wild-card round.

"Tarvaris (Jackson) and Kawika (Mitchell) have both stepped up with some of our other guys going down," Bills head coach Lovie Smith told reporters at the Bills practice facility today.

When asked if whether or not Trent Edwards would return to the starting quarterback position once his dislocated hip heals, "We'll cross that bridge when we get there. Tarvaris has shown he is capable of leading this team to wins over the past couple of games. If we don't win this Sunday's game, your question won't even matter."

Edwards' (and Ingram) timetable for return sits at 1-2 weeks. Meaning the earliest we could see him return to action is either for the Divisional or Conference rounds.

However, Jackson has definitely made the most of his opportunities (albeit suspect defenses) with Edwards out. Over the past 4 weeks, Jackson has completed 58% of his passes, for 824 yards while throwing 10 touchdown passes and 4 interceptions.

Not too shabby if you ask me.

Jackson is more serious than ever about helping the Bills win in the postseason for the first time in over 15 years.

He just doesn't want to talk about it.

"You can't get there by talking," he said. "We're going to have to go out and win."

"I think regardless of what happens you've always got pressure on yourself," Bills LB Paul Posluszny said when asked about the pressure heading into the playoffs. "We have to take it with open arms and perform."

Most of Buffalo's players have adopted a "playoff win or bust" attitude.

Anything short of that would and should be deemed a complete failure at this point.​
