I think it's b/c there was so much hinting at it only being a timed exclusive, then at the last minute new news comes out about EA/Microsoft's deal. It just seems that with all that talk that Microsoft dropped off another truck of money to EA. By no means do I think it's bad, that game will sell quite a few consoles for them, so good for them.

As for the Sony comment, does Sony have any third party exclusives? That's why I think this gets more talk, b/c we don't see it that often anymore.

They're owned by Sony, so they're first party, but like I said in my post, I see very little difference. I would bet Sony the company has very little say in what Naughty Dog does creatively, and I would likewise bet that if a bunch of the Naughty Dog guys ever wanted to leave, there would be some pay raises going around.

Sony owns most of their studios, but I don't think that that's different. They just either bought or filled muiltiple studios with talent. It's not like every Sony studio is filled with Sony lifers that worked for the company and someone at Sony went "I have an idea for a studio. We shall name it Naughty Dog."

MS would own Respawn if they could, but I'm sure those guys aren't interested after the Activision debacle. I wasn't so much calling out your post, as much as I just see that chucked around like it's a bad thing (NeoGAF is the worst with this). With the bad blood MS has right now, they need to do everyhting they can, and I think barring some catastrophe, Titanfall is the only guaranteed hit that they are associated with.

I'm not saying it's a huge difference. I just think this is why it gets a lot more coverage, b/c it's not something we see as often as we used to.

Yeah? They are a first party studio... Naughty Dog's games are published by Sony. TitanFall is being published by EA, not Microsoft.

Titanfall sniping confirmed, shunts quickscoping and no-scoping

Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall will feature sniping bar the effectiveness of quickscoping and no-scoping techniques, Respawn developer "scriptacus" wrote on the company's forums.

"Sniping is in the game, but due to how the game plays it's a pretty different animal than you'll find in your run of the mill modern military shooter. Quick scoping and no-scoping are ineffective," the representative wrote.

Quickscoping is the practice of firing a sniper rifle when the reticle lines up with the target instead of taking aiming down the rifle's scope. No-scoping refers to firing a sniper rifle without using its scope.

To learn more Titanfall and its recently revealed classes, check out previous videos introducing Titan classes like Atlas, the Ogre and Stryder. Titanfall hits Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC this March. During an investor call in October, Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen said that Titanfall will be an Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC exclusive "for the life of the title."

Best parts of halo and cod were the small game modes where player skill actually mattered. Bf's huge game modes and even ground war in cod means too many terrible gamers to blame when your team loses. The huge game modes in bf are fun and all, but 9 times out of 10 it's a clusterfuck of retardation. In 4v4 halo, you only had yourselves to blame if you lost, so I'm ok with 6v6, especially since the fucking game designer said it gives the best balance.

My opinion of it will depend entirely on how many of us will play consistently. BTB in Halo and Ground War in CoD is pretty bad compared to the smaller game modes, but I'd rather play those if we have the people than kick them out. I'd rather not have 32 vs 32 or anything like that though....don't like it and the maps required for it are awful.

Google broken on your computer? He's the lead game designer from Treyarch for CoD. Last I checked you constantly complain how shitty the Treyarch CoD games are and he constantly tweets/posts about all the enhancements, upgrades, BALANCING, etc they do with their games.

I understand but some people love the big squad matches which explains the twitter outrage.

It's 720p, no SP, no co-op and now 6v6

My best time playing multiplayer online shooters was Halo 3, Unreal Tournament (PC) and Vegas with less people. Less people meant I died less and there was less to keep track of.

I'm good with 6, I rarely can get more than 6 of my friends on at a time anymore anyway, and if we do big team there is always a few that complain about lag. If this game turns out to be as fun as most think it will be, this type of shit won't even matter, because the other options COD and BF have become incredibly stale at this point.

I couldn't care less about SP, and same goes for many of the competitive FPS players. As for the 720p, when was that set in stone? Or is this just more retardation from people who don't have an xbone :dd:

Even still, framerate is far more important than resolution for FPS (which none of you in here bashing this game even play), so even if it is 720p, as long as the framerate is solid, the game will look and play well. Shit, Ryse is 900p and is the best looking next gen game I have played on either system.
