Yeah, I see what you are saying, but what I was getting at is what Carmelo did back then is something that I don't believe Danny Granger was capable of doing. And imo, he hasn't proven yet he's capable of doing something like that.
You could make the argument of how much Granger has improved the Pacers, but even in Melo's rookie year, the Nuggets won 7 more games than the Pacers did last year. And I believe the Pacers overall last year had a better team than the Nuggets had in Melo's rookie year. The Pacers of last year outscored the 03-04 Nuggets 105 points a game to 97, out-rebounded them 44 to 42. Denver was a bit better defensively, but the Pacers had much better shooters than that Denver team.
And Archer, I wasn't directing that at you with the first post. I was simply stating my opinions in the argument between who was better (Granger or Melo).
