Anyone hate the way the QB Accuracy slider works on this game?

Instead of making your passes more inaccurate (behind wrs, overthrows, underthrows, etc.) it seems like it just increases the % of the time the ball goes straight to a defender. I feel like once you start lowering it to 10-15 any time you're not completely set throwing the ball, or get hit while throwing the ball zooms right to a db's hands.

I've always had that problem with EA football games throw, where you throw a ball and as soon as it's released you know it's an INT.

Whoever thought of putting the speed slider at 0 is a genius.

Game plays a lot better and more realistic at 0. I love those sliders, heels...good stuff.

If I hadn't already started my Kent State dynasty, I would probably start over. The scheduling thing was an issue with pretty much every Pac-10 and WAC team in year one. Plus the in-season progression and one-star and two-stars coming in higher would be nice.

And as always sliders are a work in progress. Just when I think I have them with this game, something will seem completely out of whack.

The Tuner Sets, while having good intentions, suck...because you never have a static game. Just when everyone finally figures out how to make the game playable, they make a tuner set that throws it for a loop.

The sliders need some personal adjustment, but I like playing on 0. It helps lowering the QB accuracy to make a more realistic game. So, the QB can be inaccurate, but the QB doesn't always throw to a defender...overthrows happen, errant passes happen, etc. I like how it distinguishes athletes from one another while keeping robo QB to a minimum. It also helps separate Akron from Syracuse from Pitt from Miami...it'll be tough to beat a top team, with a lot of speed, as a bum team with the speed difference being what it is.

I'm going to start up the dynasty tonight as soon as I fug with the coaches sliders after the Miami game.

If a Tuner Set comes out...I'm not downloading it...fawk it.

My only issues now are recruits coming in with oddball attributes, particularly DE, DT, and OL...DE and DT in regards to speed and strength respectively and OL in regards to strength.

Also, safeties in regards to speed.

I find myself looking for JUCO lineman more often than not with a team like Akron. So, I'm going for the stronger 2-star JUCO linemen over the freshies. Freshies just have no STR and I have no idea if they progress the strength well enough yet.

I also find myself recruiting cornerbacks in droves and moving "slower" and bigger and stronger corners to safety (both spots).

Bigger and stronger linebackers (mostly MLB but some 6'4" 240ish OLBs, too) with blockshedding and "moves" to DE.

I have no problem with this, as it happens in real life all of the time.

However, not every other team moves them or has this philosophy...so, it fawks up the game a bit.

Anyone play numerous seasons have an idea how OL progress? DL progress? etc.

Do guys speeds get better significantly? Does strength?

Right now I'm in year four of my Syracuse dynasty, I did see good progression in my defensive linemen's strength and speed ratings

offensive line, I saw boosts in their strength, pass and run block ratings....the only area where the game lacks good progression is in the awareness rating....and this is across the board, any player that comes in with low awareness they will never see enough progression to get that rating up to snuff

Same with DL. They come in with a STR of 74, they leave with a STR of? (DT)...or if a DE has a speed of 68 or 66, they leave with??

A guy who comes in with 74 str, without redshirting him, he could be progress anywhere in the 80-83 range......that same thing holds true for the DL as well

Speed wise, you can go from 68 to about 70-72.....

Matter a fact, hold the phone I'm going to dig a few examples...give me about 15 minutes

Okay again from my Cuse dynasty, year four ....these are the progression numbers from the original guys on the roster at the beginning

DE Max Beaulieu (I redshirted him as a frosh) is now a junior.....key progression

STR: 68-71, SPD: 82-84, ACC: 80-83, OVR: 68-78....this guy went from being a bit player to my best defensive lineman now......his strength didn't go up a ton, but just enough to be a problem....anything over 75 is tremendous for a DE

DE Brandon Sharpe.....no redshirt on him and he never panned out for me.....now a senior

STR: 65-67, SPD: 76-77, ACC: 76-79, OVR: 64-72.....you can see how much the progression can vary from player to player...you get some stars and you get some busts.....I like the unpredictability of the system

DT Robert Welsh.....another guy I redshirted and the move paid dividends.....this guy started out 58 overall and I almost cut him but glad I didn't....now a junior

STR: 72-76, SPD: 73-76, ACC: 70-74, OVR 58-70.....this guy went up 12 frigging points and he still has one more season......

LT Sean Hickey.....no redshirt, now a senior

STR: 81-84, SPD: 56-57, ACC: 82-83, OVR: 74-82

C Zach Chibane....no redshirt, now a senior

STR: 77-81, SPD: 48-49, ACC: 68-69, OVR: 71-82

I got a good slider set going on Heisman which actually makes defense a factor, but the problem I'm finding is that the AI just doesn't adapt. Like you guys have mentioned if you have a speedy slot WR that's being matched against a LB that's a matchup that you can take advantage of now. But, the AI play calling is so bad that they won't move out of their base 4-3 to create better matchups for their selves. It's like the AI assumes that their LB will still be able to make the coverage based on the default difficulty settings, despite being burned repeatedly. Also same situation, fast WR in the slot, your defense is out-matched and you have 0 help over top on the streak.

On offense it's even worse, I've played 6 games now and every single team has run the exact same offense. Rush D is cranked up, but every team I've played calls the majority of their run plays out of the shotgun. At least 90% of their runs have been from shotgun. They've all also done at least 4 or 5 WR end arounds per game. The play calling is horrible and feels like I'm playing the same team every week.

Has anyone else run into this with their slider adjustments?
