Nationally, Hastings is second in the nation in receiving yards per game and tied for 20th in receptions per game. He tied a Washburn single-game record with four touchdown receptions against Nebraska-Omaha while playing only the first half of the game.

CBS Sports ranked him as the 30th best tight end in the draft. Reuland, who transferred from Notre Dame in 2008, was one of several tight ends who saw action in Jim Harbaugh's offense last year. He caught 21 passes for 209 yards and a touchdown last season.
